...le mail. i usually use the feature in imap to not delete the emails, but only mark them as deleted, which is a very usefull feature if you use a emailbox with more people accessing it. Im now trying an SME server installation with dovecot 0.99.10, and when i delete a message, it gets marked as deletet, but as soon as i change the mailbox the mail gets also expunged from it. is this a bug fixed in the newer dovecot releases ? or is this a feature that i can configure ? Hello! It seems to me that correct deletion of message in thunderbird still doesn't work with ThanderBird and dovectot 1rc1. As I've said before messages are not removed phisically from filesystem, just marked for deletetion. Though I'm not sure that this is dovecot bug and not ThunderBird. Anyone to clarify this issue ?

Hello, I have recognized a pretty annoying thing with my Samba-Server: My smb.conf is set, that deletet files go into the dir ".Papierkorb". It works well one one Client, but when the user deletes Files on the other client, a dir called "RECYCLER" appears with the file and some .ini files in it. Is there a way to solve this? Both clients are WinXP, I'm using Samba Version 3....

With any GUI filemanager using fam I can create files and directories, but I can't delete directories, only files. If I try to delete a directory, it just doesn't work. Hi Timo, all of my tests fail with expire plugin, mail simply not get deleted i cant find any stuff in the logs why it does not or should not work. My guess that there is a problem with virtual plugin and/or shared namespace. It shouldnt be a problem with acl starting the script over cron as root am i right ? do you have any idea why it fails, is there a way to ignore all unneeded shared or

This is a different bug, and I suspect it might be caused by virtual plugin. We'll look into it.
