YAMAHA CAR ADVERT!!!
...e?s the basic premise of the "paid to drive" concept: YAMAHA seeks people -- regular citizens, professional drivers to go about their normal routine as they usually do, only with a big advert for new "YAMAHA YZF-R6 2014" plastered on your car or truck. The ads are typically vinyl decals, also known as "auto wraps,"that almost seem to be painted on the vehicle, and which will cover any portion of your car's exterior surface. What does the company get out of this type of ad strategy? Lots of exposure and awareness. The auto wraps tend to be colorful, eye-catching a...

...nces in the underlying implementation. Hopefully the ups.firmware value is sufficient. > > Thanks! > I'm attaching a text file with the requested info. The company logo on the front panel says, "Powerware." The company name in the upsc output is Eaton. The serial number decal on the back of the unit also says "Powerware." My hazy memory thinks that I bought the unit in 2006. > Let us know if there is another place we should update. That place is fine. I wrote that in my post more to encourage others to submit the info for the UPS they use. :) btw,...

Loop-vectorizer prototype for the EPI Project based on the RISC-V Vector Extension (Scalable vectors)
Hi all, At the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, we have been working on an end-to-end vectorizer using scalable vectors for RISC-V Vector extension in context of the EPI Project <https://www.european-processor-initiative.eu/accelerator/>. We earlier shared a demo of our prototype implementation  (https://repo.hca.bsc.es/epic/z/9eYRIF, see below) with the folks involved with LLVM

...loop, which could be a similar step. For example, in case the main vector body is 8-way or 16-way, the tail loop would be 7-way or 15-way, which is horribly inefficient. The idea was to further vectorise the 7-way as 4+2+1 ways, same for 15. If those loops are then unrolled, you end up with a nice decaling down pattern. On scalable vectors, this becomes a noop. There is a separate thread for vectorisation cost model [1] which talks about some of the challenges there, I think we need to include scalable vectors in consideration when thinking about it. Agreed. It would be very useful to think about...

Wine release 1.4
...ttings, switching from full-screen to windowed and back, etc. - NVDB is supported on cards that support GL_EXT_depth_bounds_test. - The INTZ and NULL formats are supported. - Depth surface blits are implemented in WineD3D. - Depth bias handling is improved. This fixes flickering shadows and decals in a couple of games, like Mass Effect 2 and Unreal Tournament 2004. - GL_ARB_draw_elements_base_vertex is supported. This allows draws to be more efficient in some cases. - GL_ARB_map_buffer_alignment is supported. This allows for more efficient mapping of textures and buffers in some cas...
