Windows GPLPV under OpenSolaris not working

another windows debugging tip
Something else I just discovered to make capturing DbgPrint and KdPrint output from Windows (I use this a lot in debugging gplpv drivers): . Make sure "serial=''pty''" is in your windomu config . Run DebugView from SysInternals . Enabled Kernel Capture . Log to a file - type ''com1'' as the filename . xm console will now show you all the debug output that DebugView captures... Because DebugView is a usermode app, it''s not going to capture anything if the system crashes before it...

Errno::EBADF (Bad file descriptor)
I posted this to the discussion forum on rubyforge.org, but it appears that it would have been better to post here. Does anyone have any advice on how to resolve the problem reported at http://rubyforge.org/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=6284&group_id=1306&atid=5145? Release 0.9.5 of GPL PV Drivers for Windows
I''ve just made my first ever attempt at an Nullsoft installer, so if you want to try it download "Xen PV Drivers 0.9.5.exe" from http://www.meadowcourt.org/downloads/ The installer should detect the version of windows you are running and install the drivers. At the moment you''ll need to install the shutdown monitor service manually, but you can do that from the start

performance of pv drivers for windows
Hello everybody, I tried to measure the performance of the available drivers for windows as a HVM guest. I used the gplpv drivers 0.9.11-pre17, the PV drivers from Novell, and the drivers from Citrix XenSource with the XenServer 5. The Novell and gplpv drivers were more or less at the same speed, for both, network and disk performance. The disk performance was about 10MB/s reading and

ACM driver binary 'release'
...e compatible to this binary. The package contains two variants of the driver, an optimised build and a debug build. The debug build does a lot of output through the debugger interface of Windows. This might be useful if you want to see what the driver does. A program to capture the debug output is DebugView which can be downloaded from http://www.sysinternals.com/dbgview.htm INSTALLATION: Go into the directory where the binary and .inf file resides, in the Explorer right-click on oggcodec.inf and select "Installation". That's it. CONTRIBUTING: If you are interested in contributing to t...

Firefly 1.9.5 and 20041117 CVS HEAD -- IAX2 one way audio
Using Firefly 1.9.5 (thirdparty) on Win2k Using Asterisk CVS HEAD 20041117 (also tried with 20040806 and 200410-something) IAX2, no NAT. Firefly->Asterisk audio works, but I can't hear anything from the other side. Using GSM codec, also tried ulaw. GPL PV Intermitent Network Problems
Well, I seem to have developed a strange issue with the GPL PV drivers in Windows. I''m running Xen 3.2 on SLES 10 SP2 and running some Windows XP HVM domUs. Most (12-15) of my Windows machines work just fine. Two of them, though, have started exhibiting a strange behavior with intermittent network connectivity. Basically, the network starts up and connects initially. After some

SIP tapi
I am trying to use a the SIP tapi from www.enum.at <http://www.enum.at/> . This works fine from all kinds of applications which support TAPI, like outlook and Dialer Pro. However when making tapi controlled calls, the signaling to and from PSTN seems to fail. I have used the digium hardware ISDN PRI boards, but also a SIP gateway. Both result in a audio message from asterisk
