DLL not loading, msjava.dll, Encyclopedia Britannica
...nable to start the
application - Java virtual machine not found".
As far as I could figure out, the JVM included on the CD was correctly
installed in /wine-c/windows/system/Msjava.dll (/wine-c is my virtual
C-Drive). So somehow it doesn't seem to find it.
I tried to start wine with debugmessages:
wine --debugmsg +loaddll BCD2000.exe
gives messages that a number of builtin dlls have been loaded, but no mention
of msjava.dll. When I try
wine --dll msjava=n --debugmsg +loaddll BCD2000.exe
Exactly the same - no msjava.dll appears in the message (shouldn't this load
msjava.dll from...

Log file with application running in wineconsole
...arge logfile when using
wineconsole :-(
I'm running a windows console (CUI) application using wineconsole and I
noticed all screen output gets logged in /tmp/wine.log.*
I turned of all debug channels with debugmesg -all, but it still logs the

problems is that my application generates a lot of output on the screen so
the logfile gets really hughe(GB's) over time.
I looked in the docs and did a google search, tried some things in the
[debug] and [spy] sections of the config file, but I just can't find it yet

Euro isdn caller id problem
Ok, now I'm really getting places. Something else has got me stumped -
asterisk does not receive any callerid information.
If I set up an extension as follows:
exten => 444444,1,Sayalpha(${CALLERID})
exten => 444444,2,Hangup
I get the application saying
Executing SayAlpha("Zap/1-1","") in new stack
which implies that the ${CALLERID} variable is blank.

My best guess is, if you can lay hold of a native msvcrt.dll (or
possibly the installer installed one) and make sure Wine is configured
to use it, you might have slightly better luck.
