"unclean hangups" can I turn off hook flash?
I'm having problems with unclean hangups (being read as a flash instead
of a hangup?).
Can I turn off hook flash recognition in asterisk, but still have the
flash button on the analog phone operational?
Could I use these settings in zapata.conf to fix my problem?

zaptel libs. Mark chimes in about how could this be possible yada yada.
After investigation I find the debounce set to 500ms, but basically ignored
and treated as an on/off value - implementation of which still seems pretty
strange, but I am convinced it is not doing much, if any, debouncing of the
RBS on the t1.
I decide to give up on that since it looks like I would have to redo a
large part of the driver to build in the hysterisis I need into the
signalling bits.
Why this problem is so vexing is I have one line that rings through to a
phone, and then transfers to vm, since the...

Zap channels stuck in 'Rsrvd' state
I have two Adtran 750's connecting our analog phones to asterisk. On
occasion, I get a channel that gets "stuck" off hook. 'show channels'
shows:
Zap/27-1 (longdistance s 1 ) Rsrvd (None) (None)
And will just stay like that until the phone is manually picked up and
hung up again (or asterisk is stopped/started). I guess this is a
function of an unclean hangup (being

Openloop disconnect?
Hello there,
I tried to found documentation about openloop disconnect on
Asterisk/Zaptel. And up to now, I didn't find anything. Is openloop
disconnect supported by zaptel/wcfxo drivers?
Other question: maxsilence and silencethreshold don't seem to have
any effect on voicemail. Could it be possible that in certain situation
it just wont work? I tried adding some verbose in

Problem with digits blending on inbound pulsed digits?
I have a situation where I am receiving DID calls using Immediate Start
Pulse signalling on a Loop Start trunk. The line terminates on a Newbridge
Mainstreet 3624 channel bank, which provides battery etc. The channel is
converted and routed to Asterisk. The lines are configured as follows:

Inter-digit timers on t100
Hello all-
So I have * up and running and connected to a legacy system via em_w lines
and have no trouble dialing from * through the tie line but from the PBX
across the tie line I am having intermittant receipt of the DTMF. T-Berd
testing is showing that the digits are coming across but * is either missing
the first digit consistantly.
This seems to me to have something to do with start timers

TE410P lights don't blink read after the module is loaded
Greetings,
According to the FAQ "When you load the module and have no
circuit/channel bank the LED's should flash red"
I get the "knight rider" lights before the module loads, but after the
modules are loaded I don't get any lights, other equipment plugged in or
not.
The card has been on my shelf a while so I wonder if it needs a firmware
upgrade ? Can the cards

DTMF between Asterisk servers.
Hello,
I'm a little confused on DTMF.
A sip peer is registered on two Asterisk servers. No dtmfmode is set for
them, the sip peer is 999 on Asterisk 1 and 999 on Asterisk 2. They both
register on each other.
A call comes in on Asterisk server 1, provider 1, dtmf=inband. Then the call
is transferred to Asterisk 2:

DAHDI phantom pickup when ringing
Hi,
I've been experiencing trouble with my DAHDI channels for some time and have
finally decided to try and resolve the issue.
Essentially, the problem I am having is that when a call comes in, and my
DAHDI phones therefore ring, Asterisk thinks that one of the handsets has
picked up to answer the incoming call - whereas in actual fact it is still
on hook. The call then gets instantly

"ring splash"
Something new to me. Recently installed a 1.4.30 box for a small office
with four POTS lines in a hunt (Digium TDM410P). Had the telco put a
"call forward" option on the main line of the hunt. They dial a feature
code from their desk phones (Polycom IP450) that results in forwarding the
main number to our VoIP service. This is all to let them "try out" our

Asterisk and Mitel SX 200 Slip and Frame Errors causing Major Ala rms
We have integrated an Asterisk (TE110P) and a Mitel SX200. We usually get
over 500 frame errors and over a 500 slip errors per hour. When the errors
reach 1000 per hour the Mitel will take it's T1 card offline. At that point
no calls can be routed from the Asterisk server to the Mitel and the TE110P
reports a Yellow alarm.
What can be causing all these Frame and Slip errors? We have been
