Regression of 5616?
I'm wondering if I'm seeing a regression of 5616 with 3.4.8. I'm trying to set-up pptpd with winbind, which I'm doing on two machines on Debian lenny, and I'm trying on Debian Squeeze now. The Windows client is saying "Error 778: It was not possible to verify the identity of the server." The logs say that everything is ok, and that the client is hanging up the connection. Is something not getting passed correctly like in bug...

Bug#450638: Rebuild fails even if only debian/changelog updated
Package: xen-3 Version: 3.1.1-1 See the transcript below, where I * dpkg-source -x debian/xen-3_3.1.1-1.dsc * add an entry to debian/changelog at the top * run dpkg-buildpackage, which fails I installed the build-dependencies on sid and lenny and the path it's looking for doesn't exist there either. R 3.1.2 for Debian jessie/testing available on CRAN
Dear Johannes, Thanks a lot for this work! I have to admit that I'm now a little bit puzzled, though. I'm running Debian Jessie (current testing) with great satisfaction. When it comes to R, I simply have the SID repository (official Debian) enabled, with some pining to get only R-related stuff. Now, I'm not sure to understand the benefit of using the CRAN repository for Jessie?I feel like I'm missing the...

Trying to upgrade from R 2.7.1

But apt-get still leaves me with R 2.7.1. How can I diagnose what's wrong or correct this? euclid: /etc/apt # apt-g...

R 3.1.2 for Debian jessie/testing available on CRAN
...larify this point. It makes more sense to me now. So I understand that the idea is to make it simpler without apt-pinning for less adventurous people (I mean normal people :)): just add jessie-cran3 repo and you're good to go. Am I also correct that jessie-cran3 is essentially a backport of Debian SID, with some (short?) delay? In other words, modulo a couple of days, R-related stuff should have the same version with both approaches? (while Debian Jessie is only updated from time to time, and will not be after Jessie is released) Thanks again, Mathieu. Le 26/02/2015 09:56, Johannes Ra...
