We use in the same icecast stream FLAC and opus and the have not this problem. Gary do you have this problem only on a mp3 stream? I use ProppFr...

dovecot's documentation dearth
Hello. The first thing for me to say is thanks! I've been using dovecot since test 61 and it has basically performed flawlessly for me from day number 1. Dovecot makes me look like a genius sysadmin, especially compared to my colleagues struggling with exchange. So thanks, gracias, obrigado!! I'm working on a configuration for 2.0 and I'm finding the documentation somewhat

Hi Gary, I change the type of encoder for the mountpoint what go wrong from mp3 to opus, but same problem. No mp3 problem. I restart Icecast and it works again. I set the log on (4) debug mode hope i can find something. Best regards, Michel Gary Dearth schreef op 2018-12-06 14:50: > Thanks for your response Michel. I encode with Omnia AX/E Software so that it can be processed a bit and it has built in MP3 Encoders. I believe it is happening to all my streams, but I only use the mp3 codec. Was encouraged to hear that I wasn't the onl...

https stream play 1 second and stop
I have the same issue occur on a windows server 2008 running 2.4.3 and recently upgraded to 2.4.4 I don’t know what open ssl was packaged with it. It seems to run fine for a week or two and then all of a sudden it starts this same issue of playing one second and then stopping. Restart the service and it works fine for another week or two. But only an issue on https, the http streams are fine.

PHP version not enough for developers
.... > These lists are for providing USEFUL information to CentOS users .. Let's get some information that might be useful: Are binary logfiles an inherent part of systemd? If so, equating systemd with the devil would seem appropriate. My expectation is that it is not. Is the aforementioned dearth of information an inherent part of systemd? If so, equating systemd with the devil would seem appropriate. My expectation is that it is not. The evil of binary journals for people is fairly cut and dry. If data is only for another program, making it binary when it could easily be text is against...

Just to pre-emt some posts, this is not connected to a USB port in any way..

Common Authentication Scheme
Has anybody out there had luck with LDAP or similar to enable users to share a common logon database for Windows 2000 and Linux. Microsoft and Linux supposedly allow authentication using LDAP, Kerberos and alternative schemes to their native databases ie /etc/shadow/passwd and the SAM. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Steve S.

Passing XMLRPC errors on to clients
...ies instead of doing it myself. If anyone is interested in how I''m doing it right now, you can check the source of the mongrel class I''ve written[1] and the xmlrpc_server class[2]. I''m not going to say any of this code is "good", but I''ve seen a dearth of examples and I''m doing what I can. [LLVMdev] Generating DWARF information that pretends an outparam is the return value
...39;d like to see "Value returns is $1 = 5"). I'm generating debug metadata nodes directly instead of using DIBuilder since it doesn't seem to encapsulate situations like this. Any thoughts? Apologies if this is too esoteric for the general LLVM community, but there's a seeming dearth of information about things like DW_TAG_return_variable on the wider internet. Cheers, Josh

Some basic questions about getting the best performance for database usage
I''m new so opensolaris and very new to ZFS. In the past we have always used linux for our database backends. So now we are looking for a new database server to give us a big performance boost, and also the possibility for scalability. Our current database consists mainly of a huge table containing about 230 million records and a few (relatively) smaller tables (something like 13 million

what is the purpose of an error message in uniroot?
Hi all, This is probably a blindingly obvious question: Why does it matter in the uniroot function whether the f() values at the end points that you supply are of the same sign? For example: f <- function(x,y) {y-x^2+1} #this gives a warning uniroot(f,interval=c(-5,5),y=0) Error in uniroot(f, interval=c(-5, 5), y = 0) : f() values at end points not of opposite sign #this doesn't give a

p-values
I apologize if this question is not completely appropriate for this list. I have been using SAS for a while and am now in the process of learning some C and R as a part of my graduate studies. All of the statistical packages I have used generally yield p-values as a default output to standard procedures. This week I have been reading "Testing Precise Hypotheses" by J.O. Berger

Asterisk 1.6 dahdi only?
New to Aserisk 1.6 and find the 'installation tutorials' seem low to non existent. You go to the main Asterisk page (digium.org) and really just old install instructions for 1.2 are in the examples. Download links only give you asterisk itself and not dahdi or libpri which also are needed to run asterisk? It's very confusing to anyone who is new. Someone take notice! we need a link

using rsync with Mac OS X
Rsync looks like a good tool for keeping files synchronized between two computers, such as a desktop and laptop. However, Mac OS uses a forked file system, with the second fork storing data critical to some files (such as applications) as well as type and creator information matching files up with the appropriate apps and file types. Mac OS X comes with a command-line utility called ditto
