Question about ggplot2
Dear All,
I am trying to graph a simple scatter plot where the x axis is year
and the y axis is a percentage (percentage of infant death). Instead
of plotting the raw data, I want to plot summary statistics such as
mean and median. Here is the problem: the value range of y is between
0 and 1, but since infant death is a rare event, the mean and median
is very low (something like 5%), which shows

Dear R experts, I have a question about meta-analysis
Dear R experts,
Greetings from China! I'm Zhang in the College of Education, Zhejiang University, and I am recently running a meta-analysis. Since research using the randomized controlled trial (RCT) often dismissed reporting the correlation (r) between multivariate outcomes, for instance, a study measuring students' gains on problem solving skills with three aspects and reported the

Dear all,
I am installing the libvirt 1.2.5 on my newly installed Fedora19.

In fact, the package yajl-2.0.4-2fc19.x86_64.rpm has been installed on the fedora19.
I found several links talking about this error and I downloaded 3 files (configure.ac, m4/virt-yajl.m4,

Dear Aki,
I think the renewal failed again. The SSL certificate expired Saturday,
14 July 2018.
This affects (at least) the repo.dovecot.org website and debian
repository.
Thanks,
Bernardo.

sprintf, check number of parameters
Dear Tomas,Thank you.Regarding the "unnumbered" arguments, i.e. sprintf('%f %f', 1, 2, 3). This was the case I wanted to report, here a warning can be very useful.Regarding the "numbered" arguments, that is, sprintf('%$1f %$3f', 1, 2, 3). Here, omission of an argument might be intended, for example, in an application with support for multiple languages.

OpenVZ with asterisk 13
Dear Mitul,
I already told my boss about it, I really want a single box, no virtual,
but my boss insist.
He said that openvz use less resource then KVM (or other virtual for cloud).
I really need a solid analysis to argue with him.
On the other hand, dahdi cannot be installed in openvz virtual server.
I dont have any experience with openvz at all.
Thx,

lattice splom: how to adjust space between tick marks and tick labels?
Dear expeRts,
how can I decrease the space between the tick marks and the corresponding labels in an splom?
See here:
library(lattice)
U <- matrix(runif(4000), ncol = 8)
splom(U, axis.text.cex = 0.2) # => space between the [small] tick labels and tick marks is/seems to be too large
I checked ?panel.pairs but could not find an option for that.
Cheers,

[LLVMdev] SSI and ABCD for LLVM
Dear Nicolas,
I'm curious why you are using ABCD in vmkit. Do you need any features
from static array bounds checking? As far as I know, SAFECode has a
number of implementation for that.
Thanks.
