hardware needed for OCFS
Hi,
Does OCFS require NAS hardware to run or does normal PC hard disk work?
Thanks,
Pete

Redundant firewall
Hi,
I hope this is not OT. I searched through the archives but didn''t find
anything really answering my question.
I want to create a cluster of two firewalls with Linux-HA so that if
the primary fail, the secondary firewall will take over. Note that I
don''t care about syncing states between firewalls, they will just have
to reconnect :)
It''s a typical

QA builds for 3.2.6 and 3.3 beta3
Greetings,
There are 2 imminent releases coming soon to a download server near you:
1. GlusterFS 3.2.6 - a maintenance release that fixes some bugs.
2. GlusterFS 3.3 beta 3 - the next iteration of the exciting new hotness that will be 3.3
You can find both of these in the "QA builds" server:

There are source tarballs and binary RPMs

Dial / Ring multiple sip channels
I know I can dial multiple channels in sequence
exten => 101,1,Dial(SIP/101,10)
exten => 101,2,Dial(SIP/102,10)
extne => 101,3,Dial(Zap/1/5551212)
What the boss would really like is to be able to ring 2 lines
simultaneously.
exten => 101,Dial(Sip/101,10) && Dial(Sip/102,10)
so that both extensions ring at the same time... mostly so that he can

Cannot mount gluster volume
Hi,
We recently installed glusterfs 3.3.1. We have a 3 brick gluster system running
that was being successfully mounted earlier. Yesterday we experienced a
power outage and now after rebooting our systems, we are unable to mount
this gluster file system. On the gluster client, a df -h command shows 41TB
out of 55TB, while an ls command shows broken links for directories and
missing files.

Clustering
Hello All,
Ive been doing more and more research on trying to setup a cluster/load
balancer for Asterisk. All the Asterisk boxes would be using a config that
is the same between them all (via a DB), but we want one location to point
the phones to, and from there that machine/device will send it to a Asterisk
server so the call can be processed. I know you cant balance the whole call,
ie: once the

Should I choose DSL @ 1.5 or a full T1?
I'm looking to expand my bandwidth for my Asterisk PBX.
Why should I choose a T1 over DSL for my asterisk server?
I found someone offering T1's for $290 a month + Loops or 3 Meg for $561 a month + Loops. Is this a good deal?
Thanks
Bart

* and Cisco 7910
I've looked on Google, but I get mixed results. I understand the 7910
does not support SIP, instead using SCCM, but does it work reliably with
Asterisk? Is there a specific firmware revision for the device that
makes it work?
If anyone has this phone working with Asterisk, I would be interested to
learn about the configuration.

remote operation failed: Stale NFS file handle
I've got a pretty simple Gluster 3.2.5 implementation on RHEL6. One
client keeps complaining about 'Stale NFS file handle', even though I
have explicitly disabled NFS for all volumes in the environment. I've
got 7 volumes on the cluster, and this is the only one actively
complaining about the issue. For what it is worth, the clients and
servers are the same systems. Any ideas?

Large number of 'no gfid found' messages in log
I am periodically seeing a high number of these messages in the client
log - Nothing in the log for the bricks. There appears to be a log entry
for every file in that directory, including sub-directories. I check
getfattr on the bricks and they have the gfid set and both replica brick
gfid's match for each file.

NFS: server localhost error: fileid changed
I recently moved from the fuse client to NFS - Now I'm seeing a bunch of
this in syslog. Is this something to be concerned about, or is it
'normal' NFS behavior?
NFS: server localhost error: fileid changed
fsid 0:15: expected fileid 0xd88ba88a97875981, got 0x40e476ef5fdfbe9f
I also see a lot of 'stale file handle' in nfs.log, but the timestamps
don't correspond.
