As a new subscriber to this list, I would like to ask if the Kerberos support for Samba 2.2alpha (krb5 Redhat packages are what I've already got installed) is a bad idea. Lots of room for subjective answers, no? Specifically, does it require krb5 to make connections once the smb services are running, or is it simply a connection option, used if available? I have read that MS tailored

I think I joined the list a little late to catch any info on prepping Linux to support ACL's that went by. I've done some searching, but I haven't found the answers (except in switching to another file system that supports ACL). A message just went by this morning, however, that referred to a kernel patch for this functionality. Where can I find this patch and information? Thanks.
