SSL help needed - "no root certificate"
Hi. I've spent the past few hours trying to get SSL working right in
Dovecot 1.0.5 and now I must turn to you for help.
I purchased an SSL certificate from Go Daddy. I pointed ssl_cert_file
to the .crt file and ssl_key_file to the .key file, but the client
(Mail.app) complains:
Mail was unable to verify the identity of this server, which has a

XEN 2.0.1/Xenolinux 2.6.9 domain0 not booting on Debian Sarge / P4 Xeon
Hi all
I am in the process of upgrading my XEN servers from 2.4 to 2.6 kernels
as I am having better results on 2.6.
However one machine (the big daddy) refuses to boot a 2.6.9 xenolinux
kernel. It''s an IBM eSeries xServer x205.
I have selected what i think are the appropriate options in menuconfig
but it refuses to boot into dom0. By refuse I mean it initialises the

logging into user mailboxes with admin credentials
Hey folks,
We are planning a migration away from Dovecot (sorry) to Google Apps and
are trying to figure out how to migrate the contents of user mailboxes
to the new provider. Normally we would use an IMAP migration tool to log
into each user's mailbox on the old and new providers and transfer the
data that way.
However, there is no central directory service; all accounts are local.

Speaking of sessions
Hi All,
I am trying to figure out some models and controller for a time tracking
system. More specifically I am trying to figure out the best way to
track how long a user was logged in for a given day week or month. I was
thinking from a database standpoint of having a created_ and and
updated_at in a session table and then I would find out the hours and
minutes that a user was logged in for

another starcraft
Hello everyone!
I downloaded CodeWeavers wine the other week and had it up and running in the instant of a sec. So, I mounted my Cd and installed StarCraft with no problems (except all this jibbrisch about missing fonts).
Happy as a newborn daddy I started it up, and noticed that since I couldn't fill in a userid for playing, I couldn't play. it turned out that all my keyboard pressing

You will need to grant the 'libvirt-qemu' user search permissions for the following directories....
Hello,
Why LIBVIRT software/libs need to chown "near the root level" (home/blahblah/) when raw/vdi/vhd can contains lots of directories as /home/user/Virtual_HDs/desktop/daddy/private/bedroom/number2/hd.vdi ?
on ubuntu, "/media/hostname" can contains all our external HD's without relation with virtualization !!! :-(

A Couple of Questions
Hi All,
I have been using Ruby and Rails for only a few short days and I am
loving it so far. I have a couple of questions relating to a specific
project I am working.
1. I am wondering about sessions expiring after a set period of in
activity and what would be the easiest way to set it up.
2. I would like to be able to users on the system. Each of these users
has a login of there own. Each

ProxyCommand commands don't exit
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
I've noticed that when I use ProxyCommand commands to connect, the
commands do not exit when ssh exits. This results in a bunch of commands
piling up on the machine over time.
I experimented with four machines:
linux-2.2.19+patches, openssh-3.0.1p1
linux-2.2.14+patches, openssh-3.0.1p1
freebsd-4.5-stable, openssh-2.9 localisations 20020307

Are there any HTML+CSS to PDF converters in ruby
Hi,
I tried PDF writer , but it doesn''t have HTML to PDF Converter.
Infact it is a PDF writer itself not a converter..
I''ve HTML pages with rich css or Strings with html+css such that
they are converted to PDF.
The idea is that web is all about RGB color model and when it comes
to Digital
Printing its all CMYK color model. My html page with rich css in

fax - sound/tone - dealing with SPAM
I receive several calls from this scamer: Senior SafeAlert
It is an automated call and they keep rotating their caller ID so it is harder to block them.
Does asterisk have a "fax" sound tone? If I block their number and play "fax" tone/sound maybe they will remove me from their calling list.
I've tried to call them but nothing helps.
Any better ideas? They keep calling

Hacked?
This morning, I noticed in my security email, that my entire /usr/bin
directory had setuid diff's set on them.
I think I've been hacked. So I installed chkrootkit from ports and ran
it. It showed not infected for everything,
except NETSTAT. NETSTAT showed infected...
I ran chkrootkit for another machine (at my office), and it showed not
infected for everything.
Both machines are

[LLVMdev] running clang format on the Mips target
Hi David,
What kind of "a lot of out-of-tree changes"?
You should push changes incrementally as you do work. Holding onto changes means that many things,
not just reformatting, can make them need to be redone. We frequently clean up and rewrite
code to make it cleaner and easier to maintain.
We are moving to a more strict internal review and pushing of changes and post commit
