Digium D70 visual voicemail - won't play
Hi all, I'm trying out a Digium D70 phone with Asterisk 11. My voicemail messages are listed in the "visual voicemail" app on the phone, but they do not successfully play back. The correct duration is shown, but the progress bar just jumps back to zero when I press the "Play" softbutton. I can hear my message...

Mailinglist Digium IP-phones : provisioning Digium D70
Hello, is there a mailinglist where I can post questions regarding Digium IP-phones ? I have the following question : I'm trying to provision a Digium D70 IP-phone from a https provisioning server. Best place to issue tickets for Digium phones ?
Hello, I've recently given a try to a Digium D70 phone. At the moment, I'm configuring them though config files with a DHCP server and not using DPMA. Of course, I'm connecting them to Asteris (PJSIP stack on 13.7.0). Which is the best place to: - read about past issues - open new tickets for remaining issues. Best regards -----------...

Digium IP Phones UNREACHABLE after registration
I'm trying to solve a mystery for the last couple of days. I have a mix of D70, D50 and D40 behind NAT. Server is in a colocation, not a VPS. For several years, everything was working fine, no issues. A few days ago I started having problems at one particular site. NO CHANGES have been made to this office network - same router, switch and internet provider. No new equipment...

Changing volume via dialplan
Greetings everyone, I am attempting to adjust the volume of a call using Set(VOLUME) in my extensions.conf file. I am finding that Set(VOLUME(TX)=x) and Set(VOLUME(RX)=y) have no discernable effect on my endpoints (Snom 300 IP phones). I have tried setting x and y to -30, -10, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 10, and 100 and there appears to be no change on the phone volume. I can see that the

ring group failure with "ExtensionState: 4"
New installation from AsteriskNow 3.0.0 with asterisk 11 and freepbx, running Digium D40 and D70 phones. changing ringtones to a group of phones
...phones like this, depending on certain dial-plan conditions: Exten => s,1,SIPAddHeader("Alert-Info: <http://192.168.0.200/tel_ring01.wav>") exten => s,n,Dial(SIP/mjc_office&SIP/mjc_home&SIP/mjc_lab&SIP/mjc_server,20,trj) Now, I'm migrating slowly to Digium D70 phones, which have a different Alert-Info syntax (and different ringtone names). How can I dial a group of phones simultaneously, say half Snom and half Digium, with different sip alert-info headers? - Mike

SIP hardware phones
I'm trying to understand why vendors keep making 100Mbps integrated 1-port switches in their hardware SIP phones. Even the recently-announced D40 and D50 Digium phones are limited to 100Mbps. Only the more expensive models (like the D70) can run at 1000Mbps. However, you can't expect a firm with hundreds of extensions to buy the most expensive model... And gigabit speed is important when "sharing" the network with a PC (because PC apps may "require" gigabit speed). The day will come when medium or low-budg...

dom0 - oom-killer - memory leak somewhere ?
Hello, I work in a hosting company, we have tens of Xen dom0 running just fine, but unfortunately we do have a few that get out of control. Reported behaviour : - dom0 uses more and more memory - no process can be found using that memory - at some point, oom killer kicks in, and kills everything, until even ssh the box becomes hard - when there is really no more process to kill, it crashes

Rebuild of kernel 2.6.9-67.0.20.EL failure
Hello list. I'm trying to rebuild the 2.6.9.67.0.20.EL kernel, but it fails even without modifications. How did I try it? Created a (non-root) build environment (not a mock ) Installed the kernel.scr.rpm and did a rpmbuild -ba --target=`uname -m` kernel-2.6.spec 2> prep-err.log | tee prep-out.log The build failed at the end: Processing files: kernel-xenU-devel-2.6.9-67.0.20.EL Checking
