Firefly IAX2 configuration
...box) as
following:
Server: 192.168.8.4
username: iax2user1

In the Asterisk, I did the following configuration on
the /etc/asterisk/iax.conf:
[iax2user1]
type=friend
context=internal
username=iax2user1
secret=password
host=dynamic
Then I ran the following:
#/usr/sbin/asterisk -cvvv
CLI>reload
But always I get a message at the firefly that an
error occured while trying to connect to the network.
What else I have to do?
By the way: what is the command that I can type it to
do tracing on the user [iax2user1] or to do traces on
any registeration attempts from the clients?...

problem with outgoing calls Unable tocreatechannel of type 'ZAP' (cause 34 - Circuit/channel congestion)
When Asterisk first starts up, it will attempt to "bring up" the B
channels on any PRI circuits. If you are using A@H then you can log on
to the Asterisk CLI (asterisk -r) and then do "stop now" to stop
asterisk. Start up Asterisk again by typing asterisk -cvvv at the Linux
command line. You should see a bunch of messages on the terminal and
then you'll get the Asterisk CLI prompt. A few moments later you should
see some more messages saying something like "B channel 1/1 successfully
started on span 0" and then "B channel 1/2 successf...

The first one, asterisk is not starting automatically although I did sudo make config (for asterisk and dahdi) and the asterisk and dahdi scripts have been created under /etc/init.d/
The second problem, I started asterisk using asterisk -cvvv and from the CLI, I tried dahdi show version and?dahdi show status, I am getting the following results:
*CLI> dahdi show status

AGI perl problem
Hi,
For some reason, my AGI perl scripts cannot write to the CLI console using
standard error. I ran the agi-test.agi test script that came with asterisk
and verified that the problem was not with the code. Asterisk is always
started with 4 or more v's, yet this the CLI output does not show up. Have
there been any major changes to AGI in the cvs-head? I am using Asterisk
CVS-D2005.08.05.

Asterisk died without any message, segfault
Hi!
We've experienced asterisk has gone without any message, it wasn't any
segfault, anything in asterisk messages log that says about shutting
down.
Asterisk process has just diapered.
Has anybody got similar problem?
Asterisk is version 1.4.29-1 from digium repository.

Mysterious tables starting with "stats_"
I have a server which I haven't installed that I have to maintain. This server
uses MySQL, it has an asterisk database and in there some mysterious tables:
stats_action, stats_agent, stats_callid, stats_config, stats_estados,
stats_qstats, stats_queue, stats_queuexagent. I say mysterious because I
don't have a clue about who is generating them. I did a grep for their names
in /var,

[Bug 1263] connection sharing often freezes

Note: I use only the -v option for the master since I can't reproduce
the bug with -vv or -vvv (perhaps I haven't tried hard).
On the remote side (ay, which is a Debian testing/unstable machine with
OpenSSH_4.3p2 Debian-5.1), I have a .ssh/rc file that contains:
