Upon listening, I found the volume to be quite quiet and I am wondering if there exists a native vorbis normaliser, so I don't have to decompress to wave, normalise and recompress. Hi, with the Lame MP3 encoder I reduce the amplitude of the input signal prior to encoding with the --scale option to prevent clipping that can be introduced due to resampling errors. Hello All, I am using monitor with soxmix, however the quality seems somewhat low after sox converts to mp3. Does anyone know a way to get a higher quality file? Some of my lines are coming in on isdn. Regards, Greg
