What should I do now? I mean I pointed directly to the bug and did show
how it could be fixed....

Alternatively as the strncpy manpage suggests do this for all
occurrences of strncpy
strncpy(buf, str, n);
if (n > 0)
buf[n - 1]=3D =E2=80=99\0=E2=80=99;
this could even be made a makro / helper function ...
And another update: This does fix the R+swig crasher for me (tested)!

We are testing the patch to set hint to NULL currently. I'll wait this
week to see if we experience any crashers related to it. I am not deep
enough into the query optimiser code to know which approach is better in
term of performance. If taking ownership is preferred I could make the
context resetter aware which postlist member to skip during the free().

new crasher on bigdemo
Hi
Seems that the last round of commits makes bigdemo crash fairly quickly.
Guessing it''s something to do with either the Window or fixmodule change.
Program received signal EXC_BAD_ACCESS, Could not access memory.
0x00034fbc in rb_obj_is_kind_of (obj=3825080, c=1839676) at object.c:523
523 object.c: No such file or directory.
Any hints?

[LLVMdev] How to test my pass
...-passes -stats', then 'make TEST=yourexample
report' and read the report.raw.out it produces. Look for crashes first
and foremost, then look at how many times it actually modified the user
code, then finally make sure it didn't take show absurd compile-time
problems. Fix all the crashers and O(n^2) behaviour.
Now you're ready to try your pass on real code. Modify
include/llvm/Support/StandardPasses.html to add your pass to the list of
defaults. Go back to the nightly test suite and 'make TEST=nightly
report.html' which will not only use your pass when building the...

Installing Warcraft 3
Im New to Linux and Wine.
I use Ubuntu 8.10, just downloaded wine. all my drivers are working :).
Now, I have the CD's for Warcraft 3, Its stated Installing Fine but half way installing then worldedit.exe and it crashers giving me

TreeEvent patch
Hi
Patches to TreeEvent.i and wxTreeEvent.h to implement missing methods
(and fix a crasher in bigdemo along the way)
Two of the missing methods appeared just to be down to errors in the
header file. The other (get_label) works fine - perh a bug in previous
versions of SWIG?
Methods tested and return correct values on OS X. I could offer a test
addition to bigedemo, but this doesn...

Hey,
I was gonna do a 0.5.5 release tomorrow to catch the Gnome 2.21 train.
Anyone knows about any crashers or other things that we should fix
before that? Otherwise I can try to figure out the weird redraw issues
with Youtube embedded. :)
