Dear R helpers,   I am working on the scenario analysis pertaining to various interest rates. In this connection I need to form the various combinations as under :   Suppose I have two sets A = (a, b, c) and B = (x,y,z)   Then I can easily form the cominations as (ax, ay, az, bx, by, bz, cx, cy, cz)   However, if I have say 5 variables, then total no of possible combinations will be 3^5 = 243.

I need to create a couple of OUs under Users to separate my internal users from my external users that have LDAP backed accounts so I can put ACLs over the external users so I can limit what they can see on the tree. What options do I have to create the OUs and the ACLs in a Samba4 AD-DC domain?

Samba is compiled from source. Samba DB is stored on local RAID array. Changes to AD are done using ADUC from a Windows 7 box. AD is used for authentication, user shares (folder redirection), and shared folders. G'day All, I've been setting up a new set of DCs, using 4.2.3 and all was going well until I tried to get a 4th DC going. I'm using bind_DLZ, and I think this is where I went wrong. I have a Samba 4.1.6 up and running(?) When I try to join the AD, I get 'RPC server is unabailable.' This also happens when I try the Microsoft Remote Administration tools, I get the same issue. Hello, My apologies for my bad english, this is not my birth langage and I'm still learning it. I'm trying to configure a Samba server to simply use LDAP backend for authenticate users. Just that, I don't care of PDC/BDC, etc.The samba schema is present in the LDAP, and in the users profile. The samba server have the same SID as the domain. I can log to my samba server using LDAP
