Hey all, just upgraded to wine 1.2rc7 and am noticing an issue while playing cs1.6. I'll be playing in full screen mode when all of a sudden my regular xcursor will "pop-up" over my crosshair and intense lag starts up (FPS < ~5). It's almost as if something is competing with counterstrike for video output. Anyways, I've found that if I alt tab, then alt tab back, it fixes the lag temporarily but I now get the problem that my dock pops up over cs and the whole game seems to be shifted downwards a few pixels. I'm at a loss here, if more info is needed, just let me know. Cheer...

Hi! I installed wine in Kubuntu and afterwords i installed steaminstaller from my CSs CD! I could execute both steam and CSs very fast and without problems. I veryfied that my ATI drivers were properly installed, which they where. So no problems there :) ! Then I configured my video options in CSs (16:10 1680 x 1050) and started up the game, but then I got some strange problem with the screen.

Hello! I play CounterStrike (CS) a lot on my linux box. But since i use SuSE8.0 the installation of CS crashes right at the beginning, the debugger cant tell me anything interesting. All i wanna know is if anyone here got CS working with the latest WineX version and SuSE8.0. Thanks! Mario

For some reason TCP/IP apps (Ultima Online, mIRC, etc.) work fine, but when I go to browse servers for Internet Games in Half Life / Counterstrike / etc.. can't get a server list, no error, just 0 servers. The only problem I've had so far is with Wine...I'm trying to play Day of Defeat out of steam (basically counterstrike same engine) although, when I try to run it I get the following error: choose pixel format failed and then the game restarts and opts to use software mode not openGL but in that format I only get around 1-2 fps Oh i'm using fglrx by the way and thanks for any help i'd really appreciate it.
