[LLVMdev] ACE claims better result than LLVM for ARM 9 ?
ACE issued following PR:
http://www.ace.nl/news/aces-cosy-compiler-framework-outperforms-llvm-arm9-processor
Weird that they don't give any number and use ARM 9, do they mean cortex-a9 ?

Time series analysis for a daily series
Hi everyone
I am trying to do some time series analysis with daily temperature data
(40 years). I have created a zoo object and ts object but can't apply
stl function. It says the series is not periodic or has less than two
periods. I've searched through google and found a lot of messages about
this problem but not a solution/example to look for trend and seasonal
component of a

no puedo utilizar lm().

He probado también

R and DBSCAN
Hello everyone,
When looking for information about clustering of spatial data in R I was
directed towards DBSCAN. I've read some docs about it and theb new
questions have arisen.
DBSCAN requires some parameters, one of them is "distance". As my data
are three dimensional, longitude, latitude and temperature, which
"distance" should I use? which dimension is related to

It's impossible to say. This sort of marketing statement is impossible to refute, because there are no details. Who knows whether they compared against LL...

Ruckus on Linux
Hello Wine Users!
There's a dead thread (well, dead as far as ideas) on getting Ruckus
to run under WINE over at ubuntuforums:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=438396. Basically, it
doesn't seem that anyone that's looked at the thread knows how to get
the dll's Ruckus needs into WINE. I'm happy to test as I have a
Ruckus account. I think anyone with a *.edu can sign

dovecot sometimes sends non-default SSL cert if IMAP client won't send SNI
Hi,
I recognised some funny behaviour on my server. IMAP clients which
won't send an Server Name Indication (SNI) sometimes get the wrong
certificate. I would expect that those clients always get the default
certificate (of my new domain), instead in about 20 to 50% of
connections the certificate of my old domain will be presented.
(sample rate was 3 times 30 connections)
Clients sending SNI

My _guess_ is that Patrick just took the "ntfs..." email and replied to
it (instead of starting a new empty email), while not deleting the
email relevant headers, "In-reply-to" and "Reference".
I am intentionally deleting such headers in

Problem running Gluterfs over Infiniband
Dear List,
We have lots of issues running Glusterfs over Infiniband. The client
can mount the share, but when trying to access it by ls, df, touch du
or any other kind the client hosts freeze the accessing shell and
reboot is hardly possible.
OS: CentOS 6.0 64 bit on i7 2600k machines
Version: GlusterFS 3.2.2, also found in lower 3.2.1
Kernel Version 2.6.32

[LLVMdev] llvm backend
Hi,
I am writing you because I found in the LLVM site you have worked with
backends. I am writing a new backend for a processor I am working on,
because the compiler that comes with the processor design suite is really
messy (it is CoSy). I want to have a power compiler like llvm.
I read the "writing an LLVM compiler backend" and I have define almost all
the files, but I have problems with the files for the instructions set.
XXXInstrInfo.td is giving a headache, I have not found enough information
about all the things I...
