Unencypted Passwords problem
...problems; if not, both accounts
(Administrator, and the one with the null password) worked when I had
encrypt passwords enabled, however smbd wasn't runing setuid, or mapping

The relaying source server is a shoutcast.
I don't think this is a file descriptor limitation as I can have more than 5000
clients and 65536 open fd.
Thanks in advance for any explanation.

* Call Monitoring
I've got a nagios plugin making sure the * box is up, but I would like
to do more than that.
I need to make sure the PRIs connected to my box stay up and I need to
make sure calls are not failing for any reason. Are there any *
monitoring packages like this?

Managing VMs across multiple physical hosts
Hello List,
We’re currently managing VMs across approximately 26 physical hosts. We tend to migrate VMs around a lot to do things like spread load and keep VMs running when physical hosts are in need of package updates.
Suffice it to say sometimes finding out which physical host a VM is currently running on can be a pain.
Anyone know of an open source tool that will give me a snapshot of

When I try to start a domU with more than 6 vdb it crash.
The first time the vm does not launch and aparently wait for the loop

ACLs over NFSv4 and Samba
>From what I've read so far Samba supports POSIX ACLs, correct? If so, will
they work over NFSv4 exports?
The reason I'm asking is as follows:
We're considering redoing our storage systems which currently also house
Samba servers. These are currently running on Linux boxes with NFS exports
to the rest of our networks. Many machines with massive amounts of storage,
one Samba

LDAP help!
Hey list,
Right now I have Samba+LDAP working (like a charm acctually) I just
have one issue. Right now Samba is authenticating the user against
the sambaLMPassword and/or the sambaNTPassword attributes.
I would rather it authenticated against the userPassword attribute
like my unix boxes and mail servers do. Is samba capable of doing
this? Otherwise I have to maintain two seperate passwords

G729
I have come to realize that I don't have to have a g729a license in
order to make use of an ATA-186 or 7460 connecting to another 7460. I
just need to allow the codec in sip.conf.
Now what ramification does that have when I dial out over one of my
analog line (connected to * by a channelbank and a T100P) using my 7460
or ATA-186. The only benefit I am looking for is reduced bandwidth

[PATCH 0/7] Modernize vga_switcheroo by using device link for HDA
Modernize vga_switcheroo by using a "device link" to enforce a runtime PM
dependency from an HDA controller to the GPU it's integrated into.
Remove thereby obsoleted code and fix a bunch of bugs.
Device links were introduced in v4.10.
Users might see a small power saving if the discrete GPU is in use and
its HDA controller is not, because the HDA controller is now allowed
to runtime

[PATCH v2 0/7] Modernize vga_switcheroo by using device link for HDA
Modernize vga_switcheroo by using a device link to enforce a runtime PM
dependency from an HDA controller to the GPU it's integrated into, v2.
Changes since v1:
- Replace patch [1/7] to use pci_save_state() / pci_restore_state()
for consistency between runtime PM code path of bound and unbound
devices. (Rafael, Bjorn)
- Patch [5/7]: Drop an unnecessary initialization. (Bjorn)
