''$'' placeholder naming can confuse your runner
Hi guys, I''m facing a strange behavior that smells like a bug. consider this scenario: Scenario: I''m cool Given that I am cool 4 times out of 7 and this step: Given("that I am cool $n times out of $n_total") do |n, n_total| ... end When running my story, this step is considered as PENDING. If I change the name of the second placeholder to $total, the step runs

omindex one file at a time?
Hi, all -- I want to do Plain Old Omindex'ing *but* the mapping between my documents' filenames and the URLs where I hope search users to find them is, uh..., strange. The simplest thing (to me) would be to run omindex for each document, e.g. omindex --no-delete -U /cool-url-1 /funky/doc/file-blah.pdf omindex --no-delete -U /cool-url-7 /doc/funky/ohmy/blah-file.txt ... and so on...

Re: James Chapman FLAC 1.1.2 File Filter for Cool Edit Pro 2
Hello, Different how? When displaying the wave in Cool Edit (it's to say, the FLAC file itself is opened and decoded through the Chapman filter), the audio wave result shows little differences : changes in frequencies at a given time, lower or higher; not many changes, but changes! I attribute this to the filter, because when decoding with your soft, already used for encoding, no problem

James Chapman Flac 1.1.2 File Filter for Cool Edit Pro v2
Hello, Parano?ac? Maybe... When encoding my files in FLAC, and using the Verify option, I do a final test with Cool Edit Pro v2.0, which used a flac.flt file created by James Chapman for Flac v 1.1.2. The problem is that, when decoding a Flac file with the Josh Coalson soft, I obtain the same file, in content in size than the original WAV file, but when opening the FLAC file in Cool Edit (using

Cool Mic (Android vorbis live source client) beta available
Thank you all so far for the feedback. I've forwarded this to my dev team, right now they are working on improvements based on what I've received so far. I'll keep list updated on progress and new versions if that doesn't seem to spammy. My goal is for Cool Mic to be the most stable and functional (and open source!) Android source client for Icecast that supports open codecs.

Cool Mic v1.0.6 released (Icecast source client for Android)
I would like to announce the release of Cool Mic 1.0.6, an open source Icecast source client for Android. We have worked hard to implement some new features based on user feedback, such as auto-reconnect and manual input gain adjustment. We?ve also revamped our codebase to give better response, stability and room for future enhancements. For instance, we?ve separated the connection/streaming core

Brainstorm: Running Asterisk as cool as possible - AKA solid state.
I would like to ask what people think the best way would be to build a low-power consumption, passively-cooled system. For example, one could use a fanless-Eden (mini-ITX/EPIA) system, but the loss of FPU power would limit performance. The obvious choice for FPU work are the Intels and AMDs, nut they're all power-hungry radiators. Is there something that can offer the quiet, power-savings of

Relay-only icecast with no encoders.
Hello. Let me describe my situation. In Ukraine traffic to outside world costs much more than ukrainian trafiic, so I want to save my money and make "mirror" stream server. I set up icecast 1.3 server in USA and now I want to relay stream. Encoder connects to my ukrainian server and sends stream, and users are able to listen; now I want users to be able to connect to US mirror and

Just to understand what you'd call "free": Is the client that you use free as well? =) Imho not, and it's quite annoying to see this trial-reminder...
