...irectory doesn't have VS2003 > source code AFAIK, No just the VS2003 project and solution files and a about 30 sub directories which are not required on *nix platforms. So it would be good to have the "win32" files in a separate repository if possible. I thought this would be a convient time to do this. I would like a VS2005 release of LLVM as well as the VS2003 for completeness, as VS2003 is really old hat now. Aaron

Applying multiple functions to one object
...4), class(3.14)) Is my memory failing me, or does such a function already exists in a package? Of course, it?s not difficult to define a summary function and apply this to the object, but writing, for example, fun(x, mean, median, sd, mad) to quickly show the relevant information is much more *convient*. It would be even nicer with a function that could also handle vectors and lists of values, and output the result as data frames or matrices. Example: x = c("foo", "bar", "foobar") fun(x, nchar, function(st) substr(st, 1 ,2) ) y = list(3, 3L, 3.14, factor(3)) fu...

I know it is by some RGB, which is why I included a 16-bit field for it in the draft OggRGB spec, 16 being an arbitrary size which conviently pads the remaining fields to convient 32-bit words. http://wiki.xiph.org/OggRGB -- The recognition of individual possibility, to allow each to be what she and he can be, rests inherently upon the availability of knowledge; The perpetuation of ignorance is the beginning of slavery. fro...

Dovecot 2.0.7 (8793036f6de8) seems to miss some defaults for vsz_limit
Latest Mercurial seems to miss defaults for some services e.g. 'managesieve' and 'lmtp'. Example error message upon start: dovecotdoveconf: Fatal: Error in configuration file /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf: service(managesieve-login): vsz_limit is too low failed! Regards Thomas

[PATCH 0 of 1] Patch to alter BLKIF_OP_TRIM to BLKIF_OP_DISCARD (v1).
Hey guys, Pasi mentioned on Li''s (and Owen''s) patches which provide TRIM/UNMAP support to the Linux backend/frontend that: " Isn''t the generic name for this functionality "discard" in Linux? and "trim" being the ATA specific discard-implementation, and "scsi unmap" the SAS/SCSI specific discard-implementation? work on OggFile/OggStream
...utilize the functions provided by OggFile, while still providing VorbisFile-like convience for the most common uses of Ogg encoders/decoders. In this new model, liboggstream provides the functionality of "codec plugins", inputting and outputting Ogg packets (because Ogg packets are a convient, general form to handle granule-stamped encoded and decoded multimedia data). It will, as per configuration, launch a seperate application when an unknown codec is encountered (which may, in turn, contact a service at Xiph.org to find a plugin for that codec, download it, and retry the stream)...

[Bug 2712] --cvs-exclude does not work as advertised: core directories
....org/ftp/unpacked/rsync/support/cvs2includes This script creates .cvsinclude files out of the CVS/Entries, and you just need to tell rsync to include it in each directory, using a command like this: cd src/dir cvs2includes rsync -avC -f ': .cvsinclude' . to/ That's not as convient as having rsync understand the files directly, though. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.samba.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug, or are watching the QA contact.

[LLVMdev] Subversion Migration
Hi, Two things regarding the new subversion repository :- 1) Can you remove lib/CodeGen/ELF - which was a copy of the 'libelf' GNU library which got partially deleted. 2) Is there any way make the "Win32" Visual Studio 2003 a separate source repository, so we do not have the VS2003 code being distributed on every *nix platform. AND could we also have a Visual Studio 2005

NAT/MASQ with multiple external static IPs
Hello everyone, really not sure if this is a LARTC question or not, but I have several hundred users all MASQ''d behind a single static IP. Users are reporting that certain websites are blacklisting that single static external IP for various reasons. What I would like to do is use several external IP''s and have a MASQ''d user getting a random one each time. Here is

A bit of work to implement but would be a good idea...

Sweave and Printing Lattice Figures From Loop
...a question, but I'll pose this question: Is their a better way to do the following than what I'll show below? Problem: In Sweave I have multiple figures from lattice, some of which have more that one page. I can easily figure out the total number of figures I have created, but its not convient to figure out the number of pages that would be produced. I'm lazy and do not want to type documentation chunks for every figure i've created. If all were single page figures, not a problem, just loop the printing and use some cat() lines to insert the stuff I dont want to type. However...
