[LLVMdev] LLVM to Gcc tree convertor
I know the current gcc based frontend converts llvm trees to gcc trees. Is anyone working on a backend for llvm that generates gcc trees ? It would at least be intresting since you can run all the llvm passes and all the gcc passes. I'm not sure at what level you would want to generate generic ssa ?? Mike

thoughts about MP3 -> OGG convertor
Everyone here already knows that convertings mp3s to oggs is a very bad idea. However many users don't care and will find a way to convert anyway. I propose that there be a tool to automatically do it that comes with vorbis-tools, that way it can automatically tag it as SOURCE=MP3 (or whatever). Of course we should have it emit a warning that it is bad to convert from mp3 to ogg but users

I''ve been googling around, and have found a lot of tools to convert images to the right pixel size - anyone have a good command line based one for linux? Also, how do you issue a command from a rails app? Thanks, Ben Lisbakken -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

uncompressed FLAC
...contributors accept that FLAC is bit perfect. It is easy to propose mechanisms to explain why people hear differences. (The most obvious one is that there are no differences to hear. Another is that the extra computation load on the processor places noise onto the power rails, affecting the D/A convertors.) However, without proper double blind testing, there is little point. virt-v2v slow when running inside the VM
Hi, I'm trying to create a clone of a physical Window VM using p2v. My goal is to create a cloning tools VM that has libguestfs tools installed and acts as the convertor. VM conversion works just fine but the conversion rate is significantly slow(1/3) when running inside the VM compared to when the v2v is run on the same bare-metal host. On the host: ./virt-p2v-20190405-w1f4efxy/virt-v2v-conversion-log.txt:virtual copying rate: 615.9 M bits/sec ./virt-p2v-20190405...

Where to download sample video file for Asterisk 1.8x playback?
...e: Unable to open /etc/asterisk/cp-10fps-QCIF-20Kbps.h263 (format 0x4 (ulaw)): No such file or directory The file of course exists and it's chowned to asterisk.asterisk. I think it's a file format issue. So, I appreciate it someone can give me a link to a file or maybe point me a universal convertor (open-source or linux based software) that can convert my videos to Asterisk readable format. DirectShow Theora Issue with RGB24
...igured to use RGB24. Is it likely that this is the cause of the problem? Unfortuntatly I need to stick with RGB as I have already written a significant amount of code around this. Should I not be using RGB24 as an input to the OGG Mux filter? If not, can anyone suggest a good (free) Colour Space Convertor to convert from RGB24 -> YUV12 (The Microsoft only seems to convert between different RGB formats) Many thanks, Steve. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... sip to oh323 converter converts sip uri to h.323 number and not h.323 url
Hello, i have set up an asterisk sip to h.323 convertor, it is working OK. The only problem i have is this : For example when my identity is 12345@some.domain , and i call a sip number from a sip phone, the called party sees my identity (caller identity) as 12345@some.domain, which is the way it has to be. But when i call from the same phone with the...

Why Aastra uses 48V whereas other IP Phones use much less, i.e. 5-12V
Hi, Why Aastra phones use more electricity, i.e. 48VDC whereas other phones use much less, e.g. Grandstream and Linksys both use only 5VDC. I first thought it was because of PoE, but the ones with 5VDC also run fine on PoE. What is the difference in power consumption then? -- Zeeshan A Zakaria -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

[LLVMdev] [RFC] Proposal for Adding SPIRV Target
...ernative representation for LLVM IR targeting generic OpenCL or Vulkan platforms. It has its own specific target triple and data layout. Therefore it makes sense for the functionality to be put under llvm/lib/Target. Also, as an alternative representation of LLVM IR, it makes sense to have a bi-way convertor. Implementation About the implementation of the converter, although there are suggestions to take the SelectionDAG/MC approach, it seems not a major concern in general. The current implementation uses a shared in-memory representation of SPIR-V, which facilitates supporting bi-way translation. Th...
