Moderator on vacation?
OK, I'm trying to send an email to the list the contiune a thread which describes a problem I'm having. This particualy email I wish to send contains an ls -l describing my problem (too many open files) and is apparently too large to be considered a "normal" post, so I get a message that it's being held until a moderator can view it. Fine. So now I get an autoresponder

SMB+LDAP Question ...
Greetings ... I have a quick question, which I hope will get a straight and quick answer. I am moving my system from flat files to LDAP. I have had my users in LDAP for a while, but then found that my computer accounts for Win2K in still in passwd. My question is, what are the bare minume LDAP attribs that I need for them to contiune to work? But I don't think I am going to get that

Too many logs...
Hi to all, I''d like to cut some log in /var/log/messages, as of netbios and ping entries. There are some particular rules in shorewall 1.4.5? I''ve tried with "run_iptables -A common -p udp --sport 138 -mstate --state NEW -j DROP" but it contiunes to send to log every netbios attempt. Also I don''t want to disable ping from loc to net, and from fw to net. Thanks

IVR only system with scalibility with asterisk???
Hello all: Thank you for taking the time to read this post. Background: I am a new user to IVR systems and asterisk. I have been tasked with helping to set up a system that will only handle IVR (eg no PBX functions) incomming calls for 45 or so people that will call in 3 or 4 time each day during (approx) normal business hours. We have started to look at the Ivrs perl module from

Thanks you. I'm new to LLVM backend, so the help is much appreciated. GlusterFS healing questions
Hi, We ran a test on GlusterFS 3.12.1 with erasurecoded volumes 8+2 with 10 bricks (default config, tested with 100gb, 200gb, 400gb bricksizes,10gbit nics) 1. Tests show that healing takes about double the time on healing 200gb vs 100, and abit under the double on 400gb vs 200gb bricksizes. Is this expected behaviour? In light of this would make 6,4 tb bricksizes use ~ 377 hours to heal. 100gb

Low FPS
There's another little problem I discovered when I started to play the game. I noticed that the FPS is too low. Any suggestions here are welcome.

GlusterFS healing questions
Hi, You can set disperse.shd-max-threads to 2 or 4 in order to make heal faster. This makes my heal times 2-3x faster. Also you can play with disperse.self-heal-window-size to read more bytes at one time, but i did not test it. GlusterFS healing questions
Someone on the #gluster-users irc channel said the following : "Decreasing features.locks-revocation-max-blocked to an absurdly low number is letting our distributed-disperse set heal again." Is this something to concider? Does anyone else have experience with tweaking this to speed up healing? Sent from my iPhone > On 9 Nov 2017, at 18:00, Serkan ?oban <cobanserkan at

[AMDGPU] AMDGPUAsmParser fails to parse several instructions
Dear Developers, I compile a OpenCL kernel, FFT, in AMDAPP SDK v2.5 using clang 3.8 + libclc and assembling the code with lld (The LLVM linker). The assembly code contains the following assembly codes (and lots of other similar format assembly) that fails to be parsed by AMDGPUAsmParser. It seems to me that both are valid instructions after looking at the SI instruction spec. s_mov_b32 s0,
