Sending SABME continuosly. Urgent help needed!
Hi, I'm trying to install an E1 PRI, and I need it working by Monday, but although everything seems ok, I get no response to calls. When I make a pri extense debug on span 1, I repeatedly get the following: Sending Set Asynchronous Balanced Mode Extended [ 00 01 7f ] Unnumbered frame: SAPI: 00 C/R: 0 EA: 0 TEI: 999 EA: 1 M3: 3

my first post to the list
Hello R-listers! My first post to the list is a very simple one for those who use the software continuosly. I am trying to understand the fixed-x resampling and random-x-resampling method proposed by Fox about Bootstrapping. The doubt that I have is on the side of the model run in one of the functions expressed for fixed-x resampling. What I don't understand is: X=model.matrix, and the -1 under mod=...

openssh-3.4p1.tar.gz on ftp.openbsd.org changing rather than frozen
I have seen that file ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/OpenSSH/portable/openssh-3.4p1.tar.gz is continuosly changing. This seems strange to me as I expected it should be a 'frozen' file; The signature and diff file are still dated Jun 26. I am wondering whether this is intentional. Best regards, Wojtek

DirectShow PushSource with theora encoder and Ogg muxer filters
Hi all, I am trying to test DirectShow PushSource example from the SDK with Theora encoder and Ogg muxer (DirectShow filters of course) by using GraphEdit tool. My goal is capturing the screen as video by taking snaphot bitmaps continuosly (what PushSource eaxmple does) and giving them to the Theora encoder through the DS pipeline (next goal is transmitting this video **). My DirectShow graph is like this: PushSource Filter --> Theora Encoder --> Ogg Muxer First of all, Theora encoder filter did not accept connecting to the...

Samba PDC and Automatic Printer Install
...use client driver = Yes oplocks = No share modes = Yes On the client side (Windows XP Pro), I can see both printers from Network Neighborhood, <Domain Name>, Printers & Faxes. Both of them are in 'Error' status. Does anyone have an idea why this operation is continuosly failing? Why do I get WERR_ACCESS_DENIED from SetPrinter? Thanks Mike And thanks to Kurt for getting me this far....

Difference in Samba and CIFS interms of keeping the deleted files opened
Hi, We have a CIFS server running on a NetApp server and a Solaris host running Samba-3.3.2. When we mount both the filesystems to a Drive on a Windows using the net use command and then try to run a java program which basically does nothing but continuosly writes a data chunk to a file. On a side note, these same filesystems are accessible on a Solaris (unix) host too. When the java program is run and a file is being generated, I go to my unix terminal and happen to delete the file generated by the java program. Interestingly, there is an IOexceptio...

One shared folder to be HA over CIFS to windows clients
...ile servers resource using only the name of the ad domain, but i hate the limits of FSR replicas. Hyp: - Think that i use DFS and setup that \mydomain\dfs\aaa refer to \firstserver\aaa and \secondserver\aaa. - aaa on the firstserver and on the secondserver are the same - i've setup FSR replicas continuosly between the two shares. Now, if from one my win client i poll for \mydomain\dfs\aaa , using somekind of roundrobin\casual algorithm, the DC tell me that \mydomain\dfs\aaa is \firstserver\aaa or \secondserver\aaa. Suppose, that DC translate the dfs share with the share on the second file server, th...

I can see that it doesn't register to Asterisk. I have in the SIP device: Registrar 1: UnRegistered to: 2222 registrar: 188.208.12.237 5060 expires: 2000 name: gateway passwd: 123 My...

[LLVMdev] LatticeMico32 (LM32) backend
Hello Sébastien, Making backends to LLVM is a significant amount of work. If you want somebody to do it for you, either offer some payment or do your own coding. Keep in mind that the bread-and-butter support for LLVM comes from Apple computer so unless the next iPad will start using softcores, be prepared to pursue the other courses of action I laid out. I may be having to write a backend to

Octasic echo cancellation
Hi, I'm currently testing SoftEcho, an echo cancellation software for Asterisk from Octasic. I noticed an important increase of the quality of my coms, but I still have a few echo problems. There is an ERL parameter which corresponds to an initial ERL value probably to optimize the echo training or something in that kind. Is there a way to monitor, using one of the zttools, the instant

The Asterisk bug tracker :: please think twice before opening a report!
...ures and find bugs in Asterisk, tracking them down. It is important that you consider a few things while using this tool: - If a bug marshal closes your report, do not re-open it. If you want to discuss the action, use the #asterisk-dev IRC channel or the asterisk-dev mailing list. If you continuosly re-open a bug report we close, you will get a karma reduction. Other bug marshals may disagree and re-open the bug report, but don't do it yourself if a bug marshal directed you to take the report or discussion somewhere else. You will only annoy the bug marshals, doing no good...

Relative position between two windows
Hi Luca, In recent versions of compiz (0.9.10) if you have lazy positioning on (org.compiz.move 'lazy-positioning') other clients won't get a configure notification until the end of the move. This is a performance optimization to avoid a slow path on the nvidia drivers with vsync. If you want such notifications you need to turn this option off. Either that or implement this as a

Relative position between two windows
Hi, I'm Luca from Savona, Italy. I'm using Compiz and I'm writing an application with Xlib to draw two windows, let's say window_A and window_B. I would like to keep fixed the relative position between two established corners of them that they have when mapped. So that if I move or resize one of the window, the other if necessary automatically moves to observe the condition.

Possible solution to Zaptel panics
Heya Mark (and others), Here's an update on my adventures while trying to debug the Zaptel-related panics, as discussed on this list a while back. While debugging the problem, I completely swapped the machine for an entirely different model (Supermicro dual Xeon 2.4GHz with 2Gb of RAM), put the cards in, recompiled * + Zaptel and administered my stress-test. The machine stayed up in excess
