Debug info interacting with optimization and code generation
In theory, compiler should generate bit-identical code with and without debug info. Filesystem level backups?
Up until now I've been backing up my IMAP server by taking an atomic snapshot of the entire VM, so I've not really had to worry about it. I'm moving to hosting where I have neither VM snapshots nor a filesystem that can take snapshots, so I need to think about consistent backups a bit more. [LLVMdev] MCAsmStreamer: format symbol attributes consistently
This is just a cosmetic change in MCAsmStreamer.cpp/EmitSymbolAttribute: all attributes have now a \t before and after, as done for '.type'. This makes the output look consistent, as well as help some third party assemblers expecting the attributes to be in the second column. The patch applies cleanly on the svn head. Why doesn't formatC( x, digits=2, format="g") doesn't always give 2 sig figs?
