How to generate confort noise?
Can i use a separate instance of the decoder passing NULL to generate white noise or something that is similar to confort noise? I need to feed it to my output audio autput device for each frame i don't receive in time.
Or should i just use the same decoder instance of voice and just pass NULL when i discard or loss frames? Is that the best way?
How can i accomplish this purpose?
Thanks.

Is that title dynamic (ie: does it change per song to list the song name)?
Or is it a one time static thing?

Question on Mail Formats
Hi,
I am still tuning my dovecot, but I find myself very confortable with it.
I am going to structure my imap folder with a new namespace (somthing you
cannot do with GMail :)
and I can choose the mailbox format.
What is the difference between the two mailbox format "mbox" and
"maildir"?
I know mbox is older, but there is a good reason to u...

Security on long distance calls
Hello,
which kind of method could you use to inhibit long distance calls to
_some_ extensions?
Is there a way to do it with freepbx or you have to do it manually in
the config files? I wouldn't like to set a route password, because
that is not confortable for the pbx operator. I just would like the
operator being able to call whatever number, while the extensions
should only be able to make local calls.
Thanks

It's another VM representation. I haven't really gotten to know the nitty
gritty of the language so I'm not too confortable with it, but these two links
should decribe the project. It's based on the work from SUIF. More
specifically, we are using MACHINE-SUIF as a backend to SUIF to generate code to
an embedded processor. We want to move away from using the SUIF frontend, but
the backend works fine. Esse...

someone wake me up...
and tell me that it is possible to make icecast broadcast titles or id3 tags. I refuse to believe that you all can talk so fondly of a program that gives you the ability to make a radiostation but not tell its listeners what is on the air.. That is just too weird.. So what do YOU do to tell people what they are listening to?

what architecture is required for having a samba working ?
...be to
use Samba3, wich supports Win7.
But (yes there is always a but) : we won't have the possibility to use AD features like GPOs, wich
are THE thing that our local administrators are asking for (and this explains why some of them
migrated to WinServer).
By abandonning Netware, we lost the confort of managing a tree of our computers and users, this is a
bad thing.
Our environment is very heterogeneous, an it seems hard to change some of our sensible services like
DNS (local DNS is operated by a Windows Server 2003 machine) or LDAP (yes we use LDAP for all
informations about our users)....

if you stream with MuSE (actually at the 0.6.1) you can easily specify
metatags as title, url and description from confortable input fields
embedded in the gui ( http://muse.dyne.org ). MuSE is GPL'ed software.
as long one icecast server can eventually serve more than one radiostation
i think there's really no point in complaining about a "missing feature".
but maybe you're still dreaming ;)

export DISPLAY from Dom0
Hi all,
I test from 2 month now the xen project and i reach today a custom config with xen wich is stable and so much confortable.
Just a little problem with a GUI view for the XenU domains: as I read some message from archive devel-xen that "startx" from a domain doesn''t work, I try to work with Dom0:
1. startx from Dom0
2. open xterm
3. command: xhost +
4. command: ssh ip_add_domain + passwd

Empty Partition table upon Windows 7.iso boot and install process
...LVM physical volume. Unformatted
Volume group is Esp-Virt. Unformatted
It has 4 logical volumes. Not any has ext2/3/4 format. I don''t clearly
figure out if that is a "not to do" when creating domains. I''ve been
able to create 3 linux PV vm''s however. They run confortably.
Now the 4th domain would be a windows 7 HVM. I get a console connection
with gnvcviewer. I follow the steps as me fit to the install process
till the partitionner asks me what partition it uses before formatting
it. But here is a blank window, no device, no partition, no tree. I

Thats true, splitting it is a must. I simply feel more confortable
during early stage of
development to keep all compact.
But note that you can currently select what target you want to build
via the command line.
Every builded target can be supplied.

clarifications
Hello all,
I've been trying to get spamassassin and clamav working, but got
really confused when I realized there are various incarnations of the
software. Originally, I started out with just spamassassin, but learned
there is also an SA-milter. Can someone tell me which of the various
spam fighting packages i.e., sa, sa-milter, clamav, clamave-milter, and
so forth? I ran into

Cheap and cheerful replication
Hi guys,
I wonder if anyone has found any simple solution for cheap and cheerful
replication between two hosts (in this case for XCP)?
Basically I have two machines (A and B). I want to run 8 VMs on local
storage on server A and 8 VMs on local storage on server B. I want all the
machines on server A to be backed up to server B and vice versa. In the
event of failure, I want to be able to run all
