Implementation of TLS OCSP Stapling
...'t it ;)
Unfortunately, certificate validation doesn't have a very good track
record when it comes to MTA's.. They'll accept self-signed certificates,
untrusted certificates, heck, they'll trust as far as I know almost
anything! Luckily, MUA's are a little bit more security-concerened, as
is Google/GMail.
But is that really a reason *not* to implement a feature? Shouldn't a
developer think: "OK, I want my MTA to be the best! I want to be on the
top of the list of all the MTA's out there." in stead of thinking "OK,
I'm fine with being mediocre, I don...

increasing scrollback lines/rw0901
I'd like to increase the number of lines available via the vertical
scrolling bar when running RGui.exe under win95. Would think this is set in
options() or /etc/Rconsole, but haven't been able to figure out how. Note
that it's output I'm concerened with viewing, not the command history. Can
anyone help? Thanks!

Custom graphing : Which package (Base, Grid or Lattice package)
...you'll appreciate, this is a lot of work, and before I actually
sat down to do some coding, I thought it would be prudent to solicit some
advice from someone who had done something similar or had experience with
custom plotting/graphing in R.
I have learnt the hard way, that as far as R is concerened, it's very easy
to waste several weeks re-inventing the wheel, since it is such a
functionally rich environment.
There appear to be several competing (but not entirely compatable)
"graphing" packages/extensions for R. The base package, which seems to be
the most robust, does not...

problematic p values for Dixon Q test
...e p value I expect by simulation is ~0.83:
norm=matrix(nrow=1000,ncol=4)
for (i in 1:1000){
norm[i,]<-rnorm(4)
q[i]<-dixon.test(norm[i,])$statistic
p[i]<-dixon.test(norm[i,])$p.value>}<br>
hist(q)
expected.p.val<- length(which(q>0.324))/1000
In particular I am concerened from the misleading result of
dixon.test(c(1,1,2,2),two.sided=T)
Q = 0, p-value < 2.2e-16
I would appreciate any help with this issue,

A plea for some feedback
Hello everyone.
This email makes reference to mail servers and email, but please read the
email. You will see that I have some questions about samba. :)
I need some feedback and thoughts on a particular setup that "Management"
is trying to go with.
Some info first:

Implementation of TLS OCSP Stapling
Hi all,
About a year ago, Torsten already asked for OCSP stapling
(http://dovecot.org/pipermail/dovecot/2015-April/100632.html).
Unfortunately, there was no answer to his question.
Now RFC 7633 ("TLS Feature Extension",
https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc7633, a.k.a. "Must Staple") has landed,
revocation is getting serious! I personally would like to embed all my

Mirror of SAN Boxes with ZFS ? (split site mirror)
...storages are connected to the hosts via SAN switches and two fabrics (redundant multipath configuration).
This setup should be a active / passive setup with manual failover (pool import in case of a site failure)
When thinking about this setup some questions popped into my mind. Most of them are concerened with resilvering.
SAS-analogy:
If using OpenSolaris in a simple SAS backplane server with SAS disks, if I pull a disk, the disk failure is detected and the volume continues in degrated mode. Now if I plug the SAS disk back, automatic resilvering happens to the disk. Only deltas are resilvered.
