I've followed the instructions very carefully in the PDF HOWTO regarding winbind exception made that SuSE 9.0 doesn't have pam_stack.so SuSE 9.0 brings a module called pam_smb_auth.so which i presume is the same thing. Not sure about that though. Well, i've

Is there any way to query the size of an existing journal? I have heard a number of sizes thrown around as defaults, but I need to be able to reliably get the exact journal size. Winbind help - with domain migration.
Hello guys I need some lights to migrate a Winbind/Samba share to a new AD. My scenario is: I have an old AD running on a Debian 9 and Samba 4.5.16 with many replication issues. Please note that Windows 9x clients are not true members of a domain for reasons outlined in this article. Therefore the protocol for support Windows 9x style domain logons is completely different from NT4 domain logons and has been officially supported for some time. Did you read this document? Let me know what needs to be updated and i will take care of it. Cheers, jerry
