Gracias. Eva [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

Macintosh related question
...with the Mac question. In fact, Netatalk needed to be properly configured. Now i'm having another Mac problem :( and i've not been able to solve it. Well, it seems that although Macs are registering and functioning properly in the domain, they don't appear as such to the rest of the computares in that domain. This wouldn't be a problem if i wouldn't want to use that tiny Winpopup program that comes with Windows. So, Macs can send instant messages to PCs (using a Winpopup compatible software named Macpopup, but this doesn't happen the other way around). I'm runnin...

creating vector os zeros for simulations (beginner's question)
Dear R helpers,   I know this is a simple task, but I'm new to R and I'm still havind difficulties with the language. I want to create 30 vectors to be used in a simulation, each with 1 columm and 5 lines, of random numbers N(0,1). What I tried was this:   N=150 u2<-rep(1:150,0) u2<-list(matrix(0,5)) u2 for(i in 1:N) { u2[i]<-rnorm(5) } u2 ### also tried this: N=150

How to find differences in Centos Builds
Good Afternoon, Long story short I recently upgraded my CentOS 4.4 from: 2.6.9-34.0.2.EL to 2.6.9-42.0.2.EL and am having problems with dhcp, dns and ftp (very funky nat setup, don't ask). My question is: What is the best way of troubleshooting issues after upgrading? Is there a list of changes between versions that I can look at somewhere? (obviously, but where?) I've already done a
