log output and browse list problem
...g* off; we're a bit of a 24/7
operation and 2) a minor problem, so we haven't dedicated that much time
to figuring it out.
One of the servers sporadically has a weird log entry, though, and I
think it might be related. Once or twice a week, the log output looks like:

is trying to sync with it, but it is getting 0 records....

Browsing Problems
Hello.
I've got a Samba server and I'd like it to be master browser and
everything else except domain controller (the customers wants a
workgroup, not a domain).
Lately a Windows 2003 server was added to the net and then I guess it
was removed.
I keep getting messages like the following in the logs:
> Apr 10 03:07:51 apocalypse nmbd[57552]: [2005/04/10 03:07:51, 0]

Samba BDC in the same subnet not getting connection requests

I have a Samba 3 PDC running with around 20 Windows XP/2K clients. The
PDC and the clients are in different subnets. I recently decided to add
a Samba 3 BDC in the same subnet as the clients, to give some failover
and also to reduce across-switch traffic.
After creating the BDC, I restarted one of the clients but don't see it
establishing connection with the BDC, instead it connects as
