Windows build from source.
...mission denied' errors. Even if I give myself full control of the directory and files. Strange. I also found that the environment variable TMPDIR must be set otherwise the build process assumes a temporary directory like /tmp which is not Windows compatible it is more like Unix. Anyway I have complated the build and I find that there are directories created under gnuwin32 called 'fixed' and 'front=ends'. It seems that the 'normal' R commands like R.exe, RGui.exe, RTerm.exe, etc are there. But the required DLLs are not. I have attached a screenshot of the kind of error that...

Compilation of source package.
I have a samll package that works well and complies nicly on WinXP, using R-2.4.1 Now I want to add a document so i make a folder inst\doc and put the .tex and .pdf in there. But the complation then crashes. Is this because the installin expects some file to be present in inst if an inst folder is there? This is how the thing progress is on my command promp:

New feature for sftp
I am new to OpenSSH (I used SSH before). One thing that I miss from SSH is the "auto-complete". In the sftp from SSH you could complete path using <TAB> just like in Bash, but OpenSSH sftp does not do that. Is there any plan to add that feature ? If not, could it be add ? ;-) Thanks... -- Federico Petronio petronio at agro.uba.ar Linux User #129974 --- Unix

Dahdi and ztdummy
Hi, I need to run ztdummy for Paging, but now that this is all become dahdi I don`t really know where to start. I did build dahdi before building asterisk, but that`s it. I find it hard to find any documentation referring to dadhi instead of zaptel. I have no Digium hardware, but I still need the ztdummy timer (or whatever it`s called now). How do I get myself going? virtio DMA API?
Currently, a lot of the virtio code assumes that bus (i.e. hypervisor) addresses are the same as physical address. This is false on Xen, so virtio is completely broken. I wouldn't be surprised if it also becomes a problem the first time that someone sticks a physical "virtio" device on a 32-bit bus on an ARM SOC with more than 4G RAM. Would you accept patches to convert
