Hi, how can I enable a plugin from the command line? I know how to *activate* it from dbus, i.e. do the equivalent of pressing "Ctrl-F9" or whatever the hotkey is. But I don't know how to *enable* it, i.e. do the equivalent of clicking the "enabled" checkbox in compizconfig settings manager. Thanks! Carlo

It's common knowledge that disabling desktop effects (or disabling compiz) helps game performance in wine. Somebody mentioned that the Unredirect Fullscreen Windows compiz option (see http://wiki.compiz.org/GeneralOptions ), settable via ccsm aka compizconfig-settings-manager fixes performance problems just as well as disabling compiz does. Listmates, I have an interesting problem with compiz on openSuSE 10.3. On a 4 user system, compiz loads with a blank white desktop. The desktop begins to load and you can see the desktop background, then it goes completely blank white. The mouse cursor is visible, but nothing else. You can spin the cube, no caps are present, but the mouse is non responsive otherwise (no right-click response or
