Commercial or not?
Hi All, Let's say someone uses an R package (prefer to not disclose which) that comes with two different distributions, the commercial and non-commercial license. Now the non commercial license has conditions, bit it never runs out. So if this person knows they should be using the commercial license, because they are not a student and are paid for their work , (ie they are outside the

newb trying to figure out ActiveRecord relationships
3 tables. item, brand, commercial item -------- id name brand_id name brand --------- id name commercial ---------- id item_id The idea is that a commercial will have one item. each item will have brand. and a brand may have zero to many items. I can''t figure out how to make the relationships for my models. Eventually, i''d like to be able to show a brand name from a

In addition, there are groups at STMicroelectronics and at Siemens that have used or are considering using LLVM. Note that these are internal development projects for now -- they (and Apple) have not publicly announced products based on LLVM. --Vikram http://www.cs.uiuc.edu/~vadve http://llvm.cs.uiuc.edu/ On Feb 14, 2006, at 11:24 PM, Misha Brukman wrote: > On Wed, Feb 15, 2006 at

Commercial license?
Hi there Is there a commercial license for using Rsync or the Rsync algorithm within a commercial product? I appreciate that Rsync as it stands is GNU and therefore it cannot be used in this way, but I thought that I would ask the list. I understand that it is open source, but we have an application that would benefit from something like Rsync and therefore thought we would ask the question. If

commercial software license with XEN "xm" command?
Hi Sir, Mam, I plan to develop a commercial (proprietary) software that would have a system call to XEN "xm" command. Since XEN and Samba license are GPL, I'' like to make sure if I can release my commercial software with a commercial license instead of GPL? and what particular things I should do when I release the commercial software. Software only Asterisk PBX (commercial)
Are there any switchvox/fonality type Asterisk based PBXs where I can buy just the software? I don't want to buy their 'bundles' that come with junky PC hardware. I just want their software/GUI to run on my hardware. Does Asterisk BE come with a GUI management console for managing phones, queues, VM and the like? -Matt -- Matthew S. What do you think about commercial applications for Rails?
Hello all, I''m a RoR fan. I''ve read some RoR books, and I''m starting to use RoR for commercial proyects. As I use RoR more and more, I think about inexistent tools that would be great to have when developing applications in RoR. For example: an IDE with more features than RadRails. So then I think "hey! you could produce one of these tools". Some of these

Installing the none commercial intel g729 codecsinto Asterisk@Home 2.2?
Thanks but this is for a test, I didn't buy the first one as it's a non commercial installation. I'm trying to test bandwidth etc so I need to try out how 4 of them handle the link simultaneously, I just don't know how to add a second test license. Looking for a commercial version of an IAX2 Softphone
Hello All, I have been looking for a commercial version of an IAX2 Softphone for Windows but the ones I have came across (i.e. Iaxcomm, Iaxphone, Diax) do not seem to have an updated version since April 2004 in some cases. We looked at Firefly but we sent emails to Virbiage/Freshtel with questions and could never get a response from them. Has anyone got any recommendations for commercial
