Commercial or not?
Hi All, Let's say someone uses an R package (prefer to not disclose which) that comes with two different distributions, the commercial and non-commercial license. Now the non commercial license has conditions, bit it never runs out. So if this person knows they should be using the commercial license, because they are not a student and are paid for their work , (ie they are outside the non-commercial license) how can one convince ma...

LLVM's license is a 3-clause BSD-style which permits commercial usage without distributing the source. The C/C++ front-end is based on GCC, so it i...

Commercial license?
Hi there Is there a commercial license for using Rsync or the Rsync algorithm within a commercial product? I appreciate that Rsync as it stands is GNU and therefore it cannot be used in this way, but I thought that I would ask the list. I understand that it is open source, but we have an application that would benefit from somet...

Software only Asterisk PBX (commercial)
Are there any switchvox/fonality type Asterisk based PBXs where I can buy just the software? I don't want to buy their 'bundles' that come with junky PC hardware. I just want their software/GUI to run on my hardware. Does Asterisk BE come with a GUI management console for managing phones, queues, VM and the like? -Matt -- Matthew S. What do you think about commercial applications for Rails?
Hello all, I''m a RoR fan. I''ve read some RoR books, and I''m starting to use RoR for commercial proyects. As I use RoR more and more, I think about inexistent tools that would be great to have when developing applications in RoR. For example: an IDE with more features than RadRails. So then I think "hey! you could produce one of these tools". Some of these tools, I believe, would...

Installing the none commercial intel g729 codecsinto Asterisk@Home 2.2?
Thanks but this is for a test, I didn't buy the first one as it's a non commercial installation. I'm trying to test bandwidth etc so I need to try out how 4 of them handle the link simultaneously, I just don't know how to add a second test license. [LLVMdev] Forward: Discussion about custom memory allocators for STL

We looked at Firefly but we sent emails to Virbiage/Freshtel with questions and could never get a response from them. Has...
