booting hang after init scripts
Hi all, After I recompiled a pv kernel for domU, I reboot the domU, but it hangs at: INIT: Entering runlevel: 2 Starting OpenBSD Secure Shell server: sshdNET: Registered protocol family 10 lo: Disabled Privacy Extensions IPv6 over IPv4 tunneling driver . Starting NTP server: ntpd. The login prompt never commences. I thought it was the ntpd init script, but then I tested all the init scripts in

[Hivex] OS X and iconv
Hi all, The linking problem I found yesterday appears to be because of the built-in iconv in OS X. So, this is a request for patch or pointers: What needs to happen with configure.ac or the iconv.m4 macro file to link an iconv library _besides_ the one in /usr/local/lib? That's the tl;dr, full explanation follows. That library lacks the x86_64 architecture: $ file

[LLVMdev] Bugzilla Offline
Dear All, We'll be doing some pseudo-emergency maintenance on the Bugzilla installation on the LLVM server this afternoon (basically moving files to a larger partition to avoid further disruptions of service). As this will be done by our IT staff, I don't know exactly when they will commence, but for now, just don't use Bugzilla even if it appears to be up. I'll have our IT

Monitored outbound dialing via Zap interface?
I'm using a T100p to interface to a channel bank and from there to analog PSTN lines. Because of my particular setup I have to do post-connect inband DTMF dialing - which takes up to 5 seconds for a 10 digit number, assuming 0.5/sec per digit (ie. using "zap/g1/31|5|D(6045551212)". Even with an 'outside transfer' voice prompt before commencing dialing my users are getting

dialing from a website. How to start...?
Hi all! We use a PHP-portal for management of our projects & contacts. Now I would like to make it possible to dial contacts directly from the portal. Since users have to log in, I can use that to determine which office phone the call should originate from. And the number-to-be-dialed is of course also listed. How do I commence here? I'm pretty sure others have done this already, so

TI DSP support
I did find it using my browser search. I am not sure where the "Git" is. It looks like many of the macros that use the TI intrinsics are commented-out. #if 0 +#include "dsplib.h" + +#undef MAX16 +#define MAX16(a,b) _max(a,b) ... Once my development has commenced (still in the study phase). I will be trying it. dave -----Original Message----- From: Jean-Marc Valin [mailto:jmvalin at jmvalin.ca] Sent: Monday, August 29, 2016 4:31 PM To: David Boles; opus at xiph.org Subject: Re: [opus] TI DSP support On 29/08/16 03:54 PM, David Boles wrote: > I see th...

Importing data from SPSS with Arabic encoding
Dear R-users, I'm facing a problem with the import of data in R. I have a sav file that, I presume, uses some Arabic encoding (but I don't know which one) and I would like to read it with R. When I use the function read.spss (I also tried spss.get(Hmisc)), I get the following message: > read.spss("Hhld.sav") Erreur dans read.spss("Hhld.sav") : erreur ? la lecture

Running a script on xm create
Hi, I was just wondering if it is possible to cause a script to run (configured in the domu.cfg file) each time "xm create domu.cfg" is run, but before the machine is actually started? ie, I''d like to "setup" the disks for the VM before xen/qemu tries to use the devices and allocate to the domu.
