booting hang after init scripts
...After I recompiled a pv kernel for domU, I reboot the domU, but it hangs at:
INIT: Entering runlevel: 2
Starting OpenBSD Secure Shell server: sshdNET: Registered protocol family 10
lo: Disabled Privacy Extensions
IPv6 over IPv4 tunneling driver
.
Starting NTP server: ntpd.
The login prompt never commences.
I thought it was the ntpd init script, but then I tested all the init scripts in /etc/rc2.d, they were all executed successfully.
I am using the generic pv kernel source code from xen: linux-2.6.18-xen-3.3.0. The original kernel is from debian: 2.6.18-6-xen-686 .
What is the problem?
Thanks,

I hope I'm not submitting something while Martin is halfway through working on this, but as previously noted, the real complexities are in the change to people's workflow. Let the beatings commence.

[Hivex] OS X and iconv
...3]. I tried moving them to a temporary folder, and when I did that and rebuilt, Hivexml ran without a hitch.
So, what would work in configure.ac to get Hivex to remove /usr/local/lib from the library paths for OS X, but just for iconv?
Or is the correct answer to file a complaint with Apple and commence thumb-twiddling?

[LLVMdev] Bugzilla Offline
Dear All,
We'll be doing some pseudo-emergency maintenance on the Bugzilla
installation on the LLVM server this afternoon (basically moving files
to a larger partition to avoid further disruptions of service). As this
will be done by our IT staff, I don't know exactly when they will
commence, but for now, just don't use Bugzilla even if it appears to be up.
I'll have our IT people send me email when the work is done, and I'll
forward that information to llvmdev.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

It's XP, not 7. Driver installation commences (pages flying from folder to folder animation), and the machine had all the latest updates installed by the time XP went out of support.
I think I will try the latest virtio. Pretty much stuck right now.

Could it be that because I had used cutree before on the scatter plots that

Not sure what I've done wrong here, can anyone help me

Pause on graphics
My R script needs to pause or wait for a key or mouse on each graph. I used the following statement after each plot
par(ask=TRUE)
This works on Windows but not on MacOS.
Is there any way to pause on graph in MacOS?
Thanks,

Monitored outbound dialing via Zap interface?
I'm using a T100p to interface to a channel bank and from there to analog
PSTN lines. Because of my particular setup I have to do post-connect inband
DTMF dialing - which takes up to 5 seconds for a 10 digit number, assuming
0.5/sec per digit (ie. using "zap/g1/31|5|D(6045551212)". Even with an
'outside transfer' voice prompt before commencing dialing my users are

dialing from a website. How to start...?
...or management of our projects & contacts. Now I
would like to make it possible to dial contacts directly from the portal.
Since users have to log in, I can use that to determine which office
phone the call should originate from. And the number-to-be-dialed is of
course also listed.
How do I commence here? I'm pretty sure others have done this already,
so I was wondering whether there's someone who can point me in the right
direction... :-)
(Preferable in PHP, since that's the flavor of choice of our portal)

I have noticed since commencing posts on this newsgroup, that there

TI DSP support
I did find it using my browser search. I am not sure where the "Git" is. It looks like many of the macros that use the TI intrinsics are commented-out.
#if 0
+#include "dsplib.h"
+
+#undef MAX16
+#define MAX16(a,b) _max(a,b)
...
Once my development has commenced (still in the study phase). I will be trying it.

In this case, the company can also choose which year each project should commence. These six
candidate projects can begin either in 2018, in 2019 or in 2020, or not at all.
The current proposal is to undertake project 1, 2, 3 and 5, with project 3 and 5 starting in 2018,
project 2 in 2019 and project 1 in 2020. Available funds by the end of year 2017 will be 70 mill.

I seem to have cabling & drivers set up correctly for a contact closure UPS

But after power Restoration

I would expect that once power is restored the shutdown should be cancelled.
