[LLVMdev] Strange pointer aliasing behaviour

Exactly. To elaborate on my probably-too-curt initial response, I believe that optimizations should not be constrained by non-comformant code. That said, I also believe we should be as friendly as we can in helping people find and fix these issues. Tracking down a bug like that in user code is an absolute nightmare. Specifically, we should issue good diagnostics for problems of this sort, from the compiler and/or from the static...

Multiple comparison test on selected contrasts
...is code produces the error message: In rbind ('CR core - MH core" = c(1,0,0,-1,0,0), etc.: number of columns of results is not a multiple of vector length (arg 1)'.
Model.G.mct2 = glht(Model.G, linfct = mcp(SitePos = contr)) #execution produces "Error in linfct{[nm]} %*% c: non-comformable argument", as a consequence of the previous error
summary (Model.G.mct2, test = adjusted(summarytype = "single-step")) Clearly, this approach is incorrect (and I have tried others). How can I introduce the selected set of contrasts into the mct? Thanks for any help provided. R...

Actually if you want to do bit-casting in C the usual way is to very
carefully use an union which informs the

Possible bug in 2.11.x texmf makefile.in and some related things...
Hi all,
A list of some possible issues:
1. In R 2.11.x, in:
http://svn.r-project.org/R/branches/R-2-11-branch/share/texmf/
there are two files, jss.cls and jss.bst (for JSS), which appear to be new since 2.10.x. These files are not installed when building/installing R. It would appear that they are not included in:

Subversion AND Rails hosting
I''ve been scouring the net looking for different hosting solutions,
but have so far only found one site that has what I''m looking for. I
would like to be able to host both a subversion repository for
development and my rails application(s) all in one location. So far,
I''ve only found a company called AVLUX (http://avlux.net/host.php)
that has this. Does anyone know of
