SIPphone All-in-One: coments anyone?
Hello,
can anyone comment on how one could use SIPphone's $89 All-in-One adapter
with Asterisk? Sounds to me like it should work as both a FXO and FXS.
It would be a cheap way of getting started with Asterisk and PSTN.
Any comments on the SIPphone FX200?
Any comments on SIPphone in general?
Thank you for your help

comentator's article
This is an article I came across on zdnet.com. You may or may not
agree with it. Personally, I don't.
Anyway, here's the link to it. I thought some of you might want to read
it, and form your own opinion.

Thanks for the help on the wireless problem.

Internet Explorer 6 Setup & App DB
Hi,
some time ago (around 7. May 2006) there was a coment in the App DB to get the
setup of Internet Explorer 6 working. The Coment was about removing some dll
names from the wine.inf file.
The coment was removed from the App DB, but the setup still fails for me with
current cvs (~2 hours ago).
Therefore i like two know two things:

Caching comments: timestamps and subdomains
Hi,
I''m working on a website that has a very slow loading frontpage. I
wanted to start by caching certain elements that have high load. For
example, it loads the last 50 comments, along with the corresponding
usernames, avatars and more. So I cached that fragment and created a
sweeper that observes Comment and expires after every create or
destroy action.
However, I have two problems:

This needs a coment that this can change at any time.
So it's only good as a hint e.g. for sizing data structures.

Does really nobody has a coment to this question?
Dear R-help members
I would like to use the R package goalprog, weighted and lexicographical goal programming and optimization to optimize a location problem.
In my model I need a "yes" or "no" decision - in this case, whether to select a site or not - are r...

ATrpms/Fritz FCPCI CAPI/Fedora 7
HI all,
Has anyone succesfully installed an AVM Fritz! card on Fedora 7 using the
drivers at ATrpms recently? http://atrpms.net/dist/f7/fcpci/
I tried with a clean F7 build on my EPIA 5000 yesterday, after modifying
/etc/capi.conf (removing the coment # in front of fcpci line) I received the
following error when executing 'capiinit' -
FATAL: Error inserting fcpci
(/lib/modules/2.6.22.4-65.fc7/updates/drivers/isdn/fritz/fcpci.ko):
Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

Ogg Pages Play Time?
...ady downloaded
timePerPage = Playback duration of one Page
curPagePlaying = Current Ogg Page being decoded and played
nextPage = numCurrPages + 1
download nextPage before (numCurrPages - curPagePlaying)*timePerPage
This way I can give priorities to the pages I have to download for playback.

a few questions about OpenGL and nouveau
...mapped (I guess...) so are these floats
fetched
by the pusher of the card and draw the line, possibly when glXSwapBuffers
is called?
Is the glColor(...) (the three floats) stored in the mmapped twice, one for
each
vertex? HELP I'M LOST :( This mine consideration is wrong... I guess...
st_draw.c
coments that all "rendering" is done through st_draw_vbo() which would end
up
calling nv30_draw_vbo() which would send data to the card... but where is
the
missing link?? The floats (for the vertices and color) are already mapped by

HTB stalling
Hi
Couple months ago I started to have a strange problem with HTB.
My setup is Fedora Core 2 + Pentium 2 233 + 128 MB of ram and its serving as
a router.
For some time since going to kernel 2.6 my HTB QoS Stalls for couple
seconds, every couple minutes. If the connection load is bigger the stalling
is more frequent and takes longer.
I isolated the problem to be with HTB (CBQ works fine).

Xapian vs Lucene
Hello,
It's probably quite troll-risky to put a title like this, but did anyone
take the trouble to compare Lucene to Xapian and make a list of
differences?
As I told the list at the end of last year, I'm going to have to
integrate an indexing/search engine in the coming weeks or months. It
will be integrated to Dokeos, an open-source e-learning application in
PHP, and at the moment we

Problem setting SIP incoming/outgoing

host=sipserver.com <http://sipserver.com>
port=8080

with the above configuration I can successfully dial out using dial(

but now when I call my incoming number, I get a busy or invalid number
signal. If I coment out sipserverout section, I could receive incoming calls
again.
So I turned on sip debug on CLI. and it appears to me that the following is
happening. astreisk takes the incoming call and tries to match it with a
section with the same hostname. Now the reverse IP lookup on
