PDL model
Dear r-help team: Is a package implemented in R which includes a function that calculates polynomial distributed lag models (also: Almon models, pdl-model)? Provided a pdl function is available, can it be applied to robust statistics like MM-estimators? Thanks in advance! mutlicollinearity and MM-regression
...ch is based on R^2, is used as a measure for multicollinearity. But, in contrast to OLS regression there is no robust R^2 available for MM-regressions in R. Do you know if an equivalent or an alternative nmeasure of multicollinearity is available for MM-regression in R? Bug#674907: (no subject)
I want to add some information When the "50 minute shift" occurs. It occurs simultaneously on all domU and dom0. on all domU and dom0, the syslog says Clocksource tsc unstable (delta = -2999660303146 ns) (or something very near 3000 seconds) Using ntp is ok to resync the clock but does not prevent the problem from occuring.

Bug#671018: [xen-utils-common] qemu-ifup breaks networking by changing mac address
Package: xen-utils-common Version: 4.0.0-1 Severity: important Tags: patch --- Please enter the report below this line. --- when you use "hardware" virtual machine (with qemu) with xen configured for bridging the network script treates a tap interface and then /etc/xen/scripts/qemu-ifup adds it to the bridge. That would be ok but tap interfaces have a random mac address and the bridge

The relavant part of Dovecot configuration: dotlock_use_excl = yes mail_nfs_storage = yes mail_nfs_index = yes

Bug#725082: libxen-dev: missing libraries
Package: libxen-dev Version: 4.1.4-3+deb7u1 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer, I want to make some fine monitoring of my xen machines and the xentop utility does not exactly fits my needs I saw in the sources that it uses some kind of library named libxenstat wich seems very acurate. This library is already built to make the xentop utility but the debian package does not makes it available as

Cannot receive incoming calls via ISDN
I'm experimenting with asterisk. This is my environment: - Debian sarge (vanilla kernel 2.4.29) - Asterisk 1.0.7-BRIstuffed-0.2.0-RC8g - Two sip phones (One cisco 7905 and one soft-phones X-Lite) - Digi International Datafire Micro V (Europe) (rev 02) (zaphfc) After two days of work now I can call between the two sip phones and I can call from sip phones to outside numbers via ISDN card.

Can I use a simple linear regression in this situation
Hi everybody, I'm learning R and statistics and wanted to use a real case scenario for my study... however a colleague is convinced my use of the linear regression function is incorrect. Could you please help clarify if what I'm doing is wrong? And in particular why is wrong? I was thinking to use a simple linear regression as a basic predictive model. I've a number of stores in
