How to use a value of an aboject in a line command?
This is my first time here at R Forum! I am a new user of R. I am very happy with this fabulous software! I know how to use greps, fors, seeds, %in%, paste, etc. But I need to know how to use a value of an aboject in a line command? Example: > i [1] "TP53" > TP53 V1 V2 V3 1 1 TP53 1.1 2 2 TP53 1.2 3 3 TP53 1.3 I would like to do a t.test of TP53 x

DrySQL
DrySQL is a plug-in that extends ActiveRecord to provide a complete DRY solution for Object-Relational Mapping. You''ve defined columns, constraints, relationships, and keys on your DB. With DrySQL you don''t need to re-define any of these things in your Ruby code. If you have tables, keys, and columns that don''t follow the Rails naming conventions, have a complex

URL Fragment Anchors -- may be a Safari Question
Hi, I''m a new beginner so, please forgive if I am somewhat imprecise... I''m wanting to use fragment anchors in my pages. (I think that is the right term for them). So my URL will be something like pmrs/1#id56. I am using REST and resource style mapping. My first question is will this work o.k.? I''ve tested it a tiny bit and it seems o.k. but I''m worried

RHEL 4.0 / Samba 3.0.10 Domain Controller
Hi all, I have been trying to get my RHEL 4.0 machine to act as a Windows NT domain controller so that I can get rid of some old NT 4.0 servers. I have the shares and permissions working without issue. The only problem is that I cannot get a Windows 2000 workstation to register to the Samba domain controller. I have gone through everything that I can think of, and have gone through more

Queue and Agents in CVS
Every time I have upgraded via CVS in last few weeks, the queue and agent program doesn't appear to function together. The calls are not getting passed: Agent 308 is logged in and idle. Yet I have a customer that has been on hold for over 8 minutes. Any Ideas? =================================================== pbx*CLI> show agents 301 (Lee) not logged in (musiconhold is

Postgres, testing and maybe spurious database DROPpings?
Folks, I don''t like that I have to grant CREATEDB rights to the test user to get testing working smoothly with Postgres. What is the philosophical reason that Rails wants to drop and recreate databases during the testing? It would seem to me that "pg_dump -c" (the "clean" dump option, similar to mysqldump''s --add-drop-tables ) would suffice when

[QEMU PATCH v4] create struct for machine initialization arguments
This should help us to: - More easily add or remove machine initialization arguments without having to change every single machine init function; - More easily make mechanical changes involving the machine init functions in the future; - Let machine initialization forward the init arguments to other functions more easily. This change was half-mechanical process: first the struct was added

Ferret 0.11.1-rc2
Hey guys, Just released Ferret 0.11.1. Hopefully this will fix *most* of the problems people were having. Now that I know gcc hides stack overflows on Ubuntu because -fstack-protector is set, I won''t get caught by that one again. Anyone know any other gotchas I should be aware of on Ubuntu. Please try the new version and let me know if you are still having problems with it. I have until

Authentication with Cookies instead of CookieStore Sessions
I would like to persist the user authentication between user sessions (basically a "remind me" by default). Sessions expire while cookies persist: why should I use a session for authentication and then another different cookie for the "remind me"? Can''t I simply store a cookie whith a token and use it for both authentication and persistence? -- Posted via
