lsoda warning "too much accuracy requested"
...1. If beta = 0 or
1 then the solver gives me perfectly justifiable results. Just changing
beta to 0.9 or similar causes the problem.
I am still new to R so I am unsure if it is my programming or my
understanding of the way lsoda works.
Any comments or input would be welcome.
Many thanks

SAS and R code hazard ratios
...re the same, however
the continuous variables, for example age, have quite different HRs
although in the same direction. SAS PhReg produces HRs which are the
change in risk for every one increment change in the independent variable.
How do I interpret the HRs produced by R? Thanks much, C

Probit Analysis: Confidence Interval for the LD50 using Fieller's and Heterogeneity (UNCLASSIFIED)
Classification: UNCLASSIFIED
Caveats: NONE
A similar question has been posted in the past but never answered. My
question is this: for probit analysis, how do you program a 95%
confidence interval for the LD50 (or LC50, ec50, etc.), including a
heterogeneity factor as written about in "Probit Analysis" by
Finney(1971)? The heterogeneity factor comes into play through the
chi-squared

is a great asset to my course. I'm just stuck on this one example.

Song Requests and etc.
I've been using Shoutcast and Winamp for over a year now, but I've decided
because of lack-of-stability to move it over to Icecast on a Fedora Core
machine. I'm using Ices 0.4 for MP3's. Oddsock has an auto-song requester
that I've been using, and it looks to be Win32 only. This is the link:

Anyway, I was wondering if there were

ActionWebService API ignoring multiple return values?
...2.3):
def cast_returns(api_method, return_value) # :nodoc:
return nil if api_method.returns.nil?
cast(return_value, api_method.returns[0])

Am I doing something wrong? Can''t AWS have more than one return value?
What should that look like in the implementation?
Thanks in advance.

Help with multi-response multiple factor model with varying number of factors
This is both a statistics and R question. I will give more detail if necessary.
What packages of functions would help me to create a mutli-response
model with multiple factors, where the number of levels for each
factor is different? I have a couple hundred simulation experiments,
and each experiment has four defining factors and 4 continuous and
possibly correlated response variables. I am
