[info] Spamcop listing
Smtp1.song.fi and smtp2.song.fi, our list servers, seem to have gotten listed in the bl.spamcop.net RBL. Spamcop listings are temporary and will time out, and because of occasional major false positives (or perhaps collateral damage?) like this I don't use it to reject mail. Anyone who IS using Spamcop to reject mail has missed much of today's list traffic. -- mail to this address is discarded unless "/dev/rob0" or "not-spam" is in Subject: header

[LLVMdev] 2 experimental projects
...iment, I am now bold enough to sink my teeth into the LLVM test suite. I have a prototype implementation, along the same lines, ready. 2) <class Use> size reduction. After some conversation with Chris I think we are ready for a 16 -> 12 byte size reduction of the Use class. There are some collateral improvements too. This project is in its conceptual phase. To drive forward these projects I prefer to work on branches. So I apply for a branches/ggreif/... hierarchy in the repository. I shall make it easy to use "svn switch ..." for the relevant directories for anybody who wants to...

[LLVMdev] PATCH: Use size reduction -- wave2
...lobalVariable::Create mechanism (I hoped to have nailed all in wave 1, but life is cruel). I will submit scripts for the easy conversion of external projects like the last time. I have split this review material into 3 files, corresponding to - essential changes, - related changes in .cpp files, - collateral nitty-gritty, mostly mechanical stuff. Outlook: The actual removal of the Use::U member will happen in wave 3 after this stuff is merged to trunk. I do not expect any problems. Btw., I have already performed a test merge and it also passes all tests (deja, clang, test-suite). Cheers, Gabor ---...

Windows clients heavily depend on a reliable network connection towards SMB servers they connect to. So flaky network gear between those two can of course negatively impact drive mappings. But without further analysis I can't really say what the problem is here, I...

...mailed the address(es) there, I tried to reach some of the customers of theirs, etc. I'm not willing to invest more of my time into chasing them down anymore. Either I get a direct technical contact at that company, or next week their domains and IP ranges will be blacklisted from dir.xiph.org, collateral damage assumed. If for some reason you don't want to post to the mailing list, then *don't* press reply but send a mail to thomas at ruecker.fi instead. Is support being removed for ordinary users to run sshd?
Hello Darren, Could you comment on this issue being raised by myself and Corinna Vinschen? This will create big problems for me. C7, igb and DCB support for pause frame ?
Hi there, I?m working on deploying our new cluster. Masters have 5?1gbps (i210 and i350, thus using igb.ko), configured with mtu 9000, 802.3ad. Works fine *but* I can?t get DCB working (pause frame, aka flow control, which is supported by and enabled on our switches). [LLVMdev] Quirk in switch lowering
...too high weight. The central point might be: What is the density of a single label? It might also be that the logarithmic metric is not always working well. My simple modification however seems to be a solution to this special problem; until now I have not found any malicious secondary effects (collateral damages). By the way: I have submitted the patch to llvm-commits at cs.uiuc.edu few minutes ago; perhaps you are the person with the best knowledge for this problem. I'm currently working on switch lowering using hashing which can fully replace the jump table method. It works quite good by...

Administrivia: Problems caused by Yahoo addresses
...onally (and there are better headers to filter list email on), but I know they are fairly popular so they're less of a no-brainer to just turn off. The other option is to ban posting to the list from Yahoo addresses (and similarly for any other email providers who implement policies that cause collateral damage such as this). You could probably still subscribe from such addresses, but it would be read-only. Any thoughts? Cheers, Olly
