variable share connect times ... how to speed up ?
...out why. It seems to have something to
do with re-using an smbd process that was established when NT mounted
my home directory (as stored in my profile), but that's as much as I
can make out.
Many TIA.

Group membership lost unpredictably
...Windows Server 2003
Ubuntu 11.10
Samba 3.5.11
I know you are up to 3.6.8 now. Is it possible this was related to a bug
fix and I need to upgrade? I'm on an isolated system and upgrading isn't
an easy process - so I figured I'd ask before I wasted my time.
