Greetings: I know it's been mentioned before that the tg3 driver in CentOS 3.4 is buggy. I had to revert to 3.4 today from 4 (fresh install) and now I have no link and thus no network. I'm wondering if this is caused by this bug and what the work-around is. Thanks. Brendon Colby

Greetings, I'm having trouble accessing a shell when I boot into the installation of CentOS 4 (text mode). Alt-2 (which is where the shell should be started?) shows nothing (nothing any other console). How do I access the shell within the installation? Thanks. Brendon Colby

I wouldn't be surprised if they both use the same driver. I think they are essentially the same model, but with one having a slightly larger battery. My issue is primarily with the UPS turning back on after having shut off like it should. @Scott Colby if you take a look at the config files I posted in the github issue I created, perhaps that will give you some hints on your issue. ...log messages, and their mailbox operations would fail. In my case pine just closed the mailbox with an internal error. I did a quick fix by stopping dovecot, killing all dovecot processes, killing /usr/lib/nfs/lockd on the dovecot server, and restarting lockd. Ideas? Suggestions? Jeff Earickson Colby College
