Working Documentation Toolchain [GSoC]
Hi, The basic toolchain is up and running. I encourage community to test this workflow once. It is an addition to the existing contributing mediums. I am sure I will have more questions moving forward, but this mailing list has been a great resource, and hopefully one day I can contribute to it as opposed to just asking questions. Off to clown college now. Thanks, David Peter Serbe <peter at serbe.ch> , 1/15/2015 5:36 AM: > If wbinfo -u does show users, but getent passwd does not, this > is likely your problem. BackupExec 8.5/NT + Samba 2.2
Hi, Does anyone have experience with BackupExec and Samba? BackupExec refuse to access Samba shares. Windows shares are OK, but all my Samba shares are not. I have Samba on at least 2 Linux 2.4 machines + 1 on Solaris. Neither ones work with BExec. Any idea? Other have experience with BExec and Samba? [LLVMdev] noinline
...e initially. I noticed that @ llvm.noinline was being internalized by -internalize, dead-code-eliminated by -constmerge, causing this information not to reach the -inline pass. I am not sure if this is a bug, or I am just using the passes in some wrong way. Initially I thought, maybe I was being a clown by doing "opt -internalize -constmerge -inline" in that order, but then I discovered that even llvm-ld does that, so decided to just ask on the group. :) Thanks, nikhil -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... OT: WinNT(2000) player to open files with unicode names?
Sorry for posting somewhat off-topic... Most my music files have names in hebrew (FAT32 partition). I dual-boot between a hebrew win98 (where these files are opened nicely by winamp, freeamp and any other program) and a hebrew win2000, where windows media player is the only program I've seen so far to open them. All others say "can't open file ???? ?? ???.ogg" (or .mp3) - both

Verizon Vonage 101
I've dug down as far as I could on www.uspto.gov for anything remotely close to what is going on with Verizon and all searches end with only two possibilities in regards to what is going on. So unless the patent was issued to someone else and Verizon bought it, these are the only two possible patents this case could be based on... US 7,142,646 B2 Voice mail integration with instant

Apparent SNMP remote-root vulnerability.
I just had a remote root break-in on my machine (x86 running Red Hat Linux 5.0 with all the updates except for kernel-2.0.32-3) this morning at 06:03:28 EDT. From what I''ve been able to gather, it appears to have been through snmpd, which I missed when I was weeding out unused daemons. Sorry for the feeble message, but all I know (or at least strongly suspect) is that there''s a

non-hierarchical non-exclusive clustering of large data sets
...ying to use R to cluster words with related meanings. Does anyone know of a non-hierarchical clustering method in R that produces non-exclusive clusters? With non-exclusive, I mean that words should be allowed to be part of multiple clusters. So my data matrix would look something like: T1 T2 T3 CLOWN_N 0 1 0 BANK_N 3 0 2 RIVER_N 0 0 2 FLOW_V 0 0 3 MONEY_N 2 0 0 PAY_V 2 0 0 The first line indicates the noun "clown" occurred only once in my text collection, namely in text 2. Ideally, the clustering method would produce the clusters [bank_n,river_n,flow_v], [bank_n,money_n,pay_v] and [...

Hi all, I've a problem with thunderbird 1.0.6/7/1.5 and dovecot pop3 I've tried dovecot alpha 3 and 1.0 stable but neither one is capable of downloading mails. Nothing is written into the log.
