conditional recoding a variable
I have a variable that identifies citizen type but some of my rows are blank. I want to replace the blank entries with the correct value which is conditional on another variable. In SAS, my conditional statement would be as follow: if citizenType="" and primarylanguage="English" then citizenType ="US citizen"; else citizenType=citizenType; When I try to duplicate this

Xen 4.1-unstable VGA Passthrough Kernel Panic
Dear Weidong, Pasi, and Xen developers, I have just applied the Intel gfx passthrough patches from http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-devel/2009-08/msg01176.html (Aug 2009 version) to Xen 4.1-unstable but it results in a kernel panic on CPU 0 (Fatal Page Fault). Giants: Citizen Kabuto (DirectPlay).
Hi, I am trying to run the dedicated server for the game "Giants: Citizen Kabuto" (1.4) using Wine 0.9.60. I copied dplayx.dll, dpnet.dll, dpnhpast.dll, dpwsockx.dll, and dplaysvr.exe to .wine/drive_c/windows/system32 as recommended in http://wiki.winehq.org/DirectPlayGames and put their corresponding overrides in the config (native, builtin). When I run the dedicated server, it starts

Dear Ren Yongjie
Hi Yongjie, I have just compiled and installed Xen 4.3-unstable changeset 26666 and Linux kernel 3.8.1, according to your specifications. changing character to a vector name
Dear R People: I would like to generate a vector/variable name from within a loop to be passed to a table function. [PATCH] Make syscall stub generators better world citizens
The main issue with the build that had me scratching my head over the weekend was that the stub generator scripts didn't fail when they weren't working. [LLVMdev] Downstream distributions as first class citizens in the LLVM repository
