Patching doc/syslinux.txt, partialy because #647603 on Debian
My reason for patching circa line 225 is that I think it is
clearer. The reason for patching circa line 575 is
http://bugs.debian.org/647603. They concluded that a .0 file is
recognized not only by PXELINUX. And what is NBP?

6.0-REL problems with ISA ed0, FFS corruption and ancient hardware
...ions on Friday; re-asking now on -stable without
cross-post]
I recently upgraded a 4.11-REL machine to 6.0-REL and have run into some
snags. While the installation from CD went fine, after configuring and
enabling my ed0 NIC, bad things start to happen.
FWIW, this machine is an ancient (hardware circa 1991, BIOS circa 1994)
dual-Pentium 133 MHz machine, with EISA/PCI and onboard SCSI.
So far I can reliably reproduce two panics, one appears to be a ed driver
bug (based on reports of similar panics with different NICs, notably nge)
and one is a filesystem corruption problem.
Here's the proce...

Light-weight window manager, recommendations
So, I've mentioned that I've got an original netbook, circa 2009, and I'm
going to put CentOS on it. 32 bit. Not huge disk, old Atom processor, not
tons of memory. Any recommendations for a light-weight window manager?
Before I went to KDE, I used fvwm2, and all I'm going to do is use it to
read webmail and browse, read news, etc, so I don't ne...

Ciao,
ho aperto con R un file di classe data frame con 15000 righe e 29 colonne.
Nella console perĂ² sono visualizzate solo la prime e l'ultima colonna e le ultime 8000 righe circa.
E' possibile una visualizzazione completa?
Grazie

I did a bunch of testing of Raw, qcow2, and LV backed VM storage circa
Fedora 19/20 and found very little difference. What mattered most was
the (libvirt) cache setting, accessible by virsh edit the xml config
or virt-manager through the GUI. There have been a lot of
optimizations in libvirt and qemu that make qcow2 files perform
comparable to LVs.
For migrating VMs,...

OT: Evolution folder location
I have used Eudora since v 1.35 (circa '93). For quite some time, I
have enjoyed keeping each of my mail accounts' folders in totally
separate directory trees. In Eudora you do this by specifying the
data locatoin as part of the startup: '<program location>/eudora.exe
<data location>'
So I am quite sp...

R-Cocoa Bridge
I had seen old posts on the list (circa 2002) regarding a Cocoa-R
bridge that was under development, but I can't find anything recent
about it. Does anyone know if this is available somewhere? If not,
does anyone have any experience/pointers calling R functions from Cocoa?
Thanks for your time,

How to get started with instruction scheduling? Advice needed.
...n this presentation the author says that there have been several ways to approach scheduling in LLVM over the years:
* Pre 2008: SelectionDAGISel pass creates the ScheduleDAG from the SelectionDAG at the end of instruction selection
* ScheduleDAG works on SelectionDAG Nodes (SDNodes)
* Circa 2008: Post Register
Allocation pass added for
instruction selection ( SchedulePostRATDList
works on MachineInstrs)
* Circa 2012: MIScheduler
(ScheduleDAGMI) added as
separate pass for pre-RA
scheduling
* Circa 2014: MIScheduler
adapted to optionally replace
PostRA Scheduler

[LLVMdev] Still Trying to Build on MINGW

Windows.
Note that this is not the case on Unix -- compare the implementation of
Path::isValid() in .../Unix/Path.inc to the one in .../Win32/Path.inc.
Probably the right place to make the fix is in
ArchiveMember::ArchiveMember() (Archive.cpp circa line 43).
As per the comment this constructor is being used to make a "sentry node"
in an ilist. In the initializations you will see `path("<invalid>")' which
on Windows should be something else (perhaps just use
`path("--invalid--")'.
