XiphQT OggImport component on OS X link error
I am trying to build the OggImport component using Xcode 3.0. Since I
am a fan of frameworks, I have the XIPHQT_USE_FRAMEWORKS define set.
Anyhow, I am getting a link error as listed below.
Ld /Users/jeff/programming/xiph-qt/OggImport/build/Development/
OggImport.component/Contents/MacOS/OggImport normal i386
cd /Users/jeff/programming/xiph-qt/OggImport
/Developer/usr/bin/gcc-4.0

Direct crash on ov_open
Greetings,
I've just downloaded the Ogg/Vorbis Win32 SDK 'OggVorbis-win32sdk-1.0.1.zip' and
made a test app to open an ogg file. But as soon as I call ov_open() the program
crashes because of an access violation to address 0x00000010...
This happens on both Release and Debug builds.
The test app is simple:
#include "vorbis/codec.h"
#include "vorbis/vorbisfile.h"

Label Rotation when Plotting with Factors
Hello,
Sorry if this is a repeat, having trouble finding what I need on archive and am
a novice with graphics in R!
I have plotted the results of a logit regression by factor, where "city" is the
factor set name. The problem is city names are too long and I need to rotate
them 90 degrees along the xaxis. This is what I've tried...

...Subtract stream-quality-1 from stream-quality-2, and find out what is left. This new stream would consist of ''what you would add to stream-quality-1-to-make-it-sound-near-quality-2''. Do the same with quality 3, 4, 5, up to the highest quality you want.

Then the decoder would play the layers together, 1+2+3 for a near-quality 3 file.
I have no programming knowledge at all, except for (X)HTML and CSS. Just some brainstorming.

Vorbis usage in internet broadcasts
Hi.
Just for the fun of trying something new, I've compiled a list of
Ogg/Vorbis radio stations on the internet. However, I must say I
didn't get really far. (
http://www.ai.rug.nl/~bneijt/links/oggradiolist.xml )
Does anybody know a good resource/listing of ogg streaming (with
preferably vorbis inside) radio stations?

DRM and Ogg Vorbis ??
Dear all,
I would like to know whether it is possible to use any DRM scheme
with Ogg-Vorbis ?
My idea would be to distribute music commercially and be able
guarantee to artists that they won't be copied freely.
Thanks for your advice.

Ulrich

Livevoip 800 Choppy Audio
I just signed up with livevoip for 800 DID and have very choppy audio. From
PSTN to my asterisk is ok but
asterisk to PSTN is terrible. I am using IAX and was assigned to server
iax01.nyc.*. I do not believe it is
a bandwidth problem on my end and I have no problems using iax with
gafachi. I opened a ticket with
livevoip but no response yet. Would I be better off using sip with them? Is
