Filesystem security stuff
Dear all,
I am planning to add some cryptographic properties (file encryption and digital signature on file I/O) to Linux filesystem. In detail, I want that user can do file I/O with encrypted files like he used to do with usual file except some minor changes (e.g. supply key for decrypting file). For digital signature, all read and write acts on file of any user must be signed and recorded so

indexing and migrations
Hi there
Is it necessary to make sure that indexes are rebuilt when the db is
migrated - columns added or removed? If so, can anyone tell me the best
way of automating this?

Will they ever fix the DirectSound buffer underrun error?
I'm one of many many people who submitted a duplicate bug report when
this happened to me, without realising quite how old this problem is.
New Wine versions are coming thick and fast, but every few days someone
posts another report that the same problem exists in the latest version
with such-and-such a DirectX app.
Does anyone know if this is ever likely to be fixed?

Multiple UNIX hosts on same LAN?
...#39;t get all your UNIX machines listed from Network
Neighborhood
2) getting to /tmp or /etc on various UNIX hosts is not possible.
Is this possible or even needed to address the above two concerns?
Thanks.

: sma library plot.spatial
Hi all
I'm using the above function to generate heat maps for various microarray
parameters (in R 1.4.1). I'd like to round off my plots by including a
colour key, but I can't figure out how to print it alongside the figure. Any
advice would be appreciated.
Cheers
