...a a different protocol  (AFP) and against macOS AFP server and got a similar issue (error -43 in  Finder).  There may be something wrong with the client atm. You could test against macOS  SMB server and if it's broken there as well, report this to Apple:  <https://bugreport.apple.com/>  Cheerio!  -slow  There was a bug in Yosemite SMB server where duplication didn’t work. It was fixed in El Capitan SMB server. So if there is a similar problem with Samba, it could probably be fixed now that it has been resolved on macOS side. ...mbd will leak memory allocated by worker threads, the amount of memory leaked over time depends on the IO pattern. Samba 4.6.1 will ship a fix for this, patches are also available at the bugreport. Until then the workaround is to disable aio by removing the aio read|write settings from smb.conf. Cheerio! -slow

hello all. I want to use my OpenBSD server for time machine via samba. Reading documentation, I noticed, that vfs module fruit requires streams_xattr for work, and in documentation for streams_xattr i see that the file system of the share must support extended attributes. And OpenBSD FFS does NOT support extended attributes. Does this mean I cannot use frut module too?
